I thought Barksdale played well in his last preseason game. But it's a bad sign when a FA just signed gets the start over you. He was a bad fit in the new offense.
Barksdale biggest downfall was his inability to get a good initial punch on his assignment in both the run and pass game. That might come down to him needing to play with a mean streak, which I remember being a problem for him out of LSU. He plays too lethargically, especially in this scheme.

Someone want to start a Free Agency 2.0 thread? I kinda like the times when we had different discussion threads on the different transactions, but have to admit this came in handy for general discussion and rumors.
Seeing as how this is never ending, I'm going to reboot it.
