They really can't win can they ?
Can you tell me what your reply in this thread would be if it was title "NFL will fine players for tweets".
The players shouldn't be fined however most of the tweets shouldn't have been tweeted as they were typical player tweets as in ie press send before thinking about what I'm tweeting.
But if they had got fined then I would have understand that too as no matter what happened they were basically stupid.They're supposed to be adults and sometimes they need to act it. |

Exactly what the other guy said. And you fine them because that has been the standard over the years. You are not allowed to publicly berate officials, all the players that made these tweets should get fined even if they are right. It looks incredibly unprofessional, just like a coach grabbing an official.

Don't think they could fine them anyway... I think if it was happening during a game then there would be an issue.

It would look really bad on the part of the NFL if they fined the players. This was a totally bad call, I think the NFL realizes that and won't make the issue worse by fining the players.

The players embarassed themselves enough following the game. I think that was punishment enough.
