This should be a raping, but I have a feeling it will be closer than it should be.

I'll probably be at this game. If not, I'm sure I'll be able to watch at least the 2nd half.

Cincy has a top 5 passing attack so far this season and a weak run game. On D they are bad at stopping the run and 4th in the league in getting sacks. As long as the Jags run the ball a lot they should still be in the game deep into the 4th quarter, if not leading by then. As long as the pass D plays well and as long as Gabbert keeps from turning the ball over(like he's been doing) the Jags should win.

Jags 27
Bengals 20

Questions should be.

Will Daryl Smith play?
Will Blackmon finally produce?
Is Blaine a game-manager or can he put together a 300y game and take control of this offense?
Why is Guy Whimper still active?
When can I get my Anger ProBowl jersey?

Whats the line on Blackmon guys ?

Notice he's only caught 4 balls in 3 games. Is Gabbert getting him the ball ? Is he getting d-teamed ? drops ? Shorts/ Robinson open more ?

He should have a better game against our secondary. We were bad back there before we were beaten up !

The o-line isn't giving much time for routes to develop, he's having trouble getting separation underneath, misplaced throws, dropped catchable balls, the works.

1. Nope, probably out until the bye week.
2. Blaine missed him early for a td against Indy. Hopefully he gets it going against a weak secondary.
3. He can put together a game like that but, it won't be this week.
4. Blackmail
5. Soon

Looks like Bradfield, Britton, Lane and Jennings could all be back this week. That'd be awesome.

I'm not confident about this game but I like our chances.

And it doesn't look like Smith will be practicing again. Stanford is supposed to be working into the rotation more too, but Bos will be starting still.

He should have a better day Sunday........

Looks like our starting corners Sunday will be ex-Cowboys, Pacman Jones and Terrence Newman.........

There, did that make you guys feel a little better ?

As things stand right now, i'm not really sure we do. If it comes down to a 'shootout' of sorts, where they can't stop our run game and we can't stop their passing attack, they'll win. Straight up. Gabbert (and the passing attack as a whole) is going to need to step up, and from the sounds of it, against a weak secondary, he'll have an opportunity. Would be an enormous help of course, if our o-line gets a couple bodies back. Laughing

Should be a winnable game, but we need to see the return of a legitimate passing attack, not the pea shooter nonsense we've seen the last couple weeks.

Also excited for the potential of getting Jennings back, though i wonder how diminished a role it will be when he does return, the way MJD ripped it up last week and looks to be right back on track.
