Donte Stallworth, a veteran with production and a young Danario Alexander with a lot of potential.

Nice to see we are still looking at reciever options especially with Nelson/Martin hurt. Also like seeing that we are looking at all types no matter what age or size. _________________

Easley and Roosevelt still on the PS? I'd love to bring one of them up. Always liked Easley, and I'm amazed that Roosevelt still has PS eligibility. _________________

Easley and Aiken are on the practice squad, Roosevelt is not practice squad eligible. _________________

I dont get the love for Easley? He hasnt showed up at all except for his KR for a TD. He has postential but I havent seen anything that warrants him living up to his potential. _________________

I'm not saying that I want to father his children. He tore it up in the preseason (yes, preseason) last year, and I'd like to give him a shot in a real game situation. _________________

Ehh, He didnt do much this preseason though, he had a lot of drops, yes he did have a KR for a TD, but the lions were flagged for offsides so they had to re kick, and I am assuming the players were exhausted from sprinting 60 yard, only to have to do it again. I feel like a veteran WR should be brought in over Easley. _________________

It was only one play, but I did like Easley's fight on that two-point conversion. _________________

If our practice squad guys were that good we might not be looking at available free agents. Oddly enough I think the book is written on Easley and it's similar to Alexander's: Great prospect by anything measurable but never healthy. Donte Stallworth might be a decent fit but I'm not sure how much he really has to offer.
If I was forced to make a decision I might go with Stallworth. |

For the curious...an Aiken sighting!
The Bears "Released RB Harvey Unga from the practice squad. Signed WR Kamar Aiken to the practice squad."

Please give me a break with Donte Stallworth.
I wouldn't mind giving Danario Alexander a chance though. If he can stay on the field, which isn't likely with those types of guys, he could be a good #3, maybe #2 option for us. Let's see where this goes. _________________
