Can confirm @JasonLaCanfora report that former Packer and Notre Dame star Ryan Grant is working out for Bears today. |
I read that Bush might be hurt, could be preparing for another loss at RB. _________________ 👮

Ugh, Ryan Grant... that's like one small step up from Steve Slaton... _________________

It's probably because Khalil Bell stinks. He had holes to go thru and chose to just put his head down and pickup a yard at a time. |

Bush has to be banged up for us to do this...Grant is not that good but better than Bell at this point I think.
Heal up Matt...need you back bro. _________________

I don't see why upgrading from Bell to Grant means Bush has to be banged up. It's an upgrade, Bell isn't good enough. No point not to, we're well under the cap.
side note that I should have asked an hour ago...is Bell's contract guaranteed? |

No point not to, we're well under the cap. | I believe there are reports that Bush took some shots during the Rams game...and Bell sure was in an awful lot in the second half...just makes me believe that not only was Bush hurt a little bit...but that Bell failed to impress with his game reps. _________________

We also worked out Jacob Hester...I like the idea of having him around actually, more than Grant |

Think it would confuse defenses? Put their fast corner on Jacob and their OLB on Devin? Bet the Lions would fall for it... |

There is absolutely nothing different about them you can use to tell them apart. _________________ 👮

Quote: | Ryan Grant - RB - Packers
Although free agent RB Ryan Grant had an "impressive" workout with the Bears Tuesday, he's expected to sign a contract with another team.
Grant had previously worked out for the Lions, but we wonder if the mystery team might be the Redskins. The team's brass had reportedly volleyed the idea of signing Grant before training camp opened, and the backup duo of Roy Helu (turf toe) and Evan Royster (knee) is nursing injuries this week. In addition to Grant, the Bears also worked out Jacob Hester. |
If he is looking so good in workouts, why not at least give him a shot? _________________ 👮

Could be he'd rather sign with the Redskins to go against a 6th round rookie, a 6th round 2nd year player, and a 4th round 2nd year player, than vs Forte and Bush |
