Rodgers didn't get sacked once, and they moved the ball downfield on a few drives -- just couldn't finish the drive, so it led to FGs. Seattle couldn't move the ball at all until those final 2 drives -- which the first of the final 2 was plagued by horrible flags (roughing the passer on GB, PI on GB's Shields). |
Seattle had a huge roughing the passer call against Brandon Mebane that looked downright horrible to me. Bad calls both ways. The last call was just much worse than anything you'll ever see.
We've gotten some lucky breaks this season too though. Can't deny that. |
James Shields phantom PI was as bad as I have ever seen. Makes the game look fixed to me. |
LOL, nah. Phantom roughing the passer on Mebane defeats the conspiracy theories. _________________

It sucks that the Seahawks got the win. They didn't deserve it and it hurts our team's chances of winning the division. _________________

Seahawks are 2-2 now.
I think Wilson gets at least one more start. _________________ Legends Never Die. They Breathe Through The New Generation.

I wouldn't be surprised if he rides out the whole season.
As much as Pete preaches 'competition', guys with a certain 'reputation' to the team will get the automatic start.
Like James Carpenter at LG (which is a good move, because he was looking good before he got injured) or Russell Wilson at QB.
I'm not sure how the competition would have played out if Matt Flynn didn't get injured in camp. _________________

Didn't Pete put CBJ in for Jackson at some point? Was that for injury?
Either way, I hope you're right. Wilson staying in at QB is better for the rest of the NFCW. _________________

CBJ came in when T-Jack got injured. He was so sucky, Pete forced T-Jack to play with a torn pec
The 'competition' mantra just gets to me. He makes Bobby Wagner compete against Barrett Ruud (which he was never going to lose), but he gives John Moffitt and James Carpenter the automatic start. _________________

NFC West leads all divisions with the most wins with a combined 11 wins. Second place is NFC East with a combined 9 wins. _________________

SEA vs. SF in San Francisco this week. Gonna be a big part of how this race starts to unfold.
St. Louis gets Green Bay this week too. _________________

Well the bad news is we'll need a win no matter what to maintain a share of first place. |

Almost halfway in and San Francisco takes the upper hand. We need to respond and it all starts this week. _________________

Seahawks go down in Detroit. Rams got manhandled by the Pats in London. _________________

Seattle sucks on the road every year. SF will win this division in a landslide. _________________

Pretty much. We're just fighting for a wildcard at this point. _________________
