Hopefully that 2nd half gave Horton enough Ammo to keep that defensive unit working. |
I don't think Ray Horton will have any problem getting these guys to go back to work.
Did it without A-Dub today too. Unreal. |
Sadly Ray Horton will be motivating a different group of players next season. |
What jobs will be opening? Cleveland?? That team has no future... Maybe the Raiders?
I guess in the end it doesn't matter -
Head Coach for any team >>>>>> Coordinator |
Raiders just hired Dennis Allen.
Cleveland will be open though. Damn near guarantee it. |

Cleveland is a lock. Maybe Jacksonville, KC, San Diego, Philly, and who else knows, season is young. If Seattle falls off I could see Carrol out too.
Hopefully he doesn't get offered a job anytime soon, do you think we go after Butler again? _________________ Nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition.

Jacksonville just hired Mike Mularkey. KC may ride Crennel more than 1 year as well. |

Having read the posts about the crowd, I personally thought the opposing crowd was unusually light compared to days gone by. Granted Eagles fans didn't have much to go crazy about, but the Cards' crowd just dominated when the moment was right.
To what love2theOLINE posted, I was kind of shocked when the Eagles were 1st and goal from the 1 at the end of the 2nd half and the Cards' fans were relatively quiet while I was screaming my lungs out to hold them. Finally on 3rd and goal the crowd came to life. But whether Cards fans are "intelligent or not, I don't care. I do know that the days of opposing teams fans being 50% or greater are gone.
What a game and thank you to the Eagles for the 3 turnovers that the Card capitalized on all 3 times. Something we rarely see. |
Not sure if I would call them unintelligent but maybe just don't know better. It takes a long time to build a real home field advantage and having fair weather fans(and their king, Dan Bickley) doesn't help. I submitted a comment along time ago to maybe add a little fan edict to the DVD that goes out to season ticket holders.
By the way I am also sick off people behind us calling security to try to get us to sit down on Defense, every time this happens then the security guard just turns around as we are doing what we should do. _________________ Nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition.

Have to continue to talk up the O line for the cards who everyone said was a huge problem. Levi Brown is not missed as much as people think he would be.
Depth means alot in the NFL and guys like Rashad Johnson, Rob Housler and Micheal Floyud made plays when the team needed them to.
Bigtime hats off to the Whiz. he is playing this team to it's strengths. Not going 4 wide every play to air it out when this team isn't built that way. |

Patrick Peterson, William Gay and Kerry Rhodes all played all 64 defensive snaps Sunday. Not sure on Gay and Rhodes but Peterson has played every single defensive snap this season.
Sam Acho played 62 snaps, D-Wash played 61, Calais played 57, Paris Lenon played 56, OBS played 50. Waiting word on the others. |

I couldn't see who it was in real time but big props to Anthony Sherman for causing the fumble on the punt return.
Kid's a big time player for this team. |

Dan Williams played just 11 snaps yesterday.
He played well in those 11 snaps I though, I understand why Ray Horton is playing him an minimally as he is and I certainly don't think his playing 11 snaps is hurting the defense any BUT, it really sucks to see our 2010 1st round pick playing in just 17% of our defensive plays. Gross miss-use of resources there. |

There's no doubt about how Whiz was gonna lean on when Heap got hurt. Rob Housler played 48 snaps yesterday. Jeff King played 33.
Michael Floyd played 35 snaps too. Good day for him. |

What this team did really well that we have not seen a lot of lately is being able to score early within the teams first two drives. The Cardinals first four drives ended with a FG, a TD, a punt, a TD in that order. That was huge for this team and the fumble returned for a TD was icing on the cake. Being able to score early in the game and keeping a lead is something this team does much better than the other way around. _________________

I officially want to know why the Cards bothered to bring Stewart Bradley back. I believe he can be a good player in the system but he is not playing. |

He fitted a need that was there at the time.
PL wasnt supposed to play as well as he did, SB was supposed to pick up the scheme better, but he didnt.
He is a pretty good backup to have incase of injury and we will draft a new ILB next year and move him on.
Overall we dont spend too much on LB as a whole, so a few bucks to SB over the last 2 years is ok. |
