Obviously, there's a ton of optimism around this team right now. We're 3-0 for the first time in 38 years. We're getting talk from all the major NFL analysts, Dan Bickley just wrote a piece about how "Red Bird Fever" is taking over the Valley again and Ron Jaworski just listed us as the 3rd best team in the league. While all of that is amazing to hear and amazing to witness/experience after all the predictions of our demise, we simply MUST keep this into perspective. 3-0 is just 3 wins. Not 12, not 13, 3. We're not in the playoffs, we're not in the Super Bowl. We have 3 wins. We've got a quarterback who still misses throws, we've got 1 back who's put the ball on the ground twice in crucial situations and another back who may be on the shelf for the next few weeks. Our OL cannot open holes for our backs on an even halfway consistent basis. Our special teams while good thus far has also cost us 7 points (Huge return by Leon Washington to set up a 10 yard scoring "drive") in a game we won 4. We're a missed field goal away from being 2-1. We are NOT perfect and we are NOT where we want to be as a team. We've got lots of work left to do and I hope our coaches preach that to our players. 3-0 is just 3 wins.

in 2011, the Buffalo Bills started the season 3-0 with a win against the New England Patriots (Sounds familiar). They finished the year with just 6 wins and a top 10 NFL Draft Pick. WE'VE STILL GOT WORK TO DO!!!

Okay, but counterpoint: Shut up, we're one of three 3-0 teams in the league. Enjoy it, party pooper.

We are a dropped pass and a missed field goal away from 1-2. This offense still fails to take drives past three plays too often, and leaves our defense on the field for long stretchs (See the 2nd half on Sunday).

This team is 3-0 celebrate the fact we are 3-0, but there are still 13 games left this season, this season could end 3-13.

Enjoy it, but don't get ahead of yourself.

I agree, the best way to keep this thing rolling is to not get overly excited by a win, and also, not to get upset by a loss...one game at a time is the way to go.

however, this team is playing with more heart and passion then I have ever seen. eventually we will lose a game, but I do believe that this team has the heart to bounce back after a loss.

I won't be happy until the team gets back to the playoffs. The last 2 years has been tough. I am predicting that 9 or maybe 10 wins is whats needed for that to happen. Still alot of football needs to be played before I am happy.

I'm old enough to remember numerous better starts than 3-0 that faded.

So I'm cautiously optimistic myself, but common, we look damn good.

The issue with our team though is we have a few key stars that, heaven forbid anything happens, we'd be in a hole.

So 3-0 isn't so much as a nice start, it's a healthy start. We can only hope it stays that way.

"Just a bruise"

He's probably 50/50 on playing this week. If I had to guess? Daniel Thomas will start and him and Miller will split carries.
