Great win, never thought we'd score 38 on that Washington 'D'.
Our defence p-layed much better this week despite giving up 31. I bet RGIII's gonna be sore in the morning.......
Dunlap just made all the difference......constant pressure all game. _________________ " I imagine that in Paul McCartneys' house, he must have a shelf with the 12+ great 'Beatles' studio albums neatly stacked. Dunlap was huge. He caused O-lines to slide protection his way, which opened things up for MJ93. For the haters, Johnson was getting double teamed every play with Dunlap out. _________________

Gameballs :
Dunlap, MJ93, Dalton & The Gang
Gamegoats :
Newman, stupid play with the foul OOB's on RG3 nearly cost us the game.
BJGE, with a fumble and only 30 yards running it.
Maualuga, unimpressive again....... _________________ " I imagine that in Paul McCartneys' house, he must have a shelf with the 12+ great 'Beatles' studio albums neatly stacked. At times, he must rock back in a chair, light a cigar and say to himself, '....not bad for a life's work......' " |

BJGE was ok, just the oline sucked big time. Arian Foster would have had 40 yards behind that oline today. No openings.
Maualuga sucked though, i agree. Little effort, poor tackling, etc. Not good. But unfortunately there's no one behind him to push him what with Burfict having to start at WLB.
I thought the new DE Gilberry was ok. Showed up the backfield a few times.
MJ93 was good. I just wish he hadn't waited until his contract year to show up. _________________

Dunlap didn't play more than half the snaps, but had the biggest impact on the game by far from the defensive side (well, positive impact. Newman had the biggest impact...idiot). _________________

Forgot to include Geathers. He got owned too often, and took some terrible angles on edge-runs his way...... _________________ " I imagine that in Paul McCartneys' house, he must have a shelf with the 12+ great 'Beatles' studio albums neatly stacked. Good game guys. As I predicted, it was a shootout and as I predicted, the Redskins were going to give up over 30 points and lose. Good luck the rest of the way!
BTW- I'm asking every opponents' fans. What were your impressions of RG3? _________________

He's got moves and a hell of an arm. Good instincts and great in open space but he's not built to take many hits in the NFL. Running the option opens him up to take a pounding from DE's ant DT's and he won't last long in the NFL if he's asked to do that. With Morris it's one hell of an option but after he burns a D once on the misdirection the biggies will tee off on him just like what happened today. |

Yeah I was nervous till the end because of our D and how dangerous RG3 is _________________

Finally got to watch the game. Wow our D-Line looks worlds better with Dunlap in there instead of Ocho's boy,
Btw, on the last play it looked like Taylor Mays knocked out Reggie Nelson. Hope it's not serious, we really can't afford to lose him. Freakin Mays...

The thing I was most impressed about was that he was under constant pressure but didn't seem to get fazed or get scared at all. Stood tall in the pocket and still ran when needed to... _________________

IMO, RG3 is gonna make a huge impact in this league, the only problem you got is the same as ours; he's playing in a real tough division.
To state the obvious, WAS needs to improve his protection. We got some hellacious licks in on him yesterday, and if that continues, he ain't gonna last for long. Shanahan will find ways to protect him better.
The biggest compliment I can give RG3 is to compare him to one of my favourite NFL players of all time, Randall Cunningham.
Good luck the rest of the way 'Thaiphoon'; (especially when you play the other AFCN teams !!!!!); and remember to keep RG3 upright...... _________________ " I imagine that in Paul McCartneys' house, he must have a shelf with the 12+ great 'Beatles' studio albums neatly stacked.
