Drops, fumbles, and soft defense. Tell me where I've seen that before... |
Plenty of bad teams get better turnout... |
Wasn't quite the point I was trying to make. Just just a jest about how the fans get a bad rep for not selling the game out and the team lays an egg. The Chargers have fans just as great as any other team out there. Charger tickets are in the top 25% most expensive and have an old stadium with 72000 seats (most stadiums have 60k-65k).
A lot of good teams lost today. If the Chargers don't come back, they still have a long season. But obviously there is a lot of work that needs to be done. |

Harris + Clary = Bad
Harris looks like he gets it, and always knows where to be. Problem is he's not strong enough to hold up, and too stiff to handle a move. _________________

I honestly hope the crowd boos this performance. Not that I think it would matter one iota to Dean, but it might at least light a fire under Philip's and a few others' butts. _________________

Rivers has the fire, he's just in panic mode. Having guys in his face all day hasn't help either.
Do we all have a party when Gonzo retires? _________________

I think maybe I'm referring to a bit of a different fire. Rivers is a little too concerned with being the good little soldier and toeing the company line when a true leader would make a point to speak out, not publicly but through the proper administrative channels, that what's being put on the field and provided to him is not good enough.
Obviously AJ doesn't typically respond well to threats, but he's yet to encounter a threat from someone whom quite literally the teams current and relative future success lies firmly on the shoulders (not to mention the guy who is Dean's bell-cow in terms of individual players bringing in the moolah).
Norv actually learning the definition of a slant route might be beneficial too. _________________

Scifres with a 29yd punt out of the endzone. It would be really hard for it to get worse. _________________
