Where would we play him? We just drafted our future WLB and Foster is beasting right now at MLB (leading the league in stuffs). Would you put Te'o at SLB? Stongside LBs in this era play less than nickel CBs with passing games across the league opening up. I think Quincy Black played something like 10 snaps against the Panthers in our opener. I wouldn't draft a part-time player with a 1st round pick.
Great prospect, no doubt. He just wouldn't have a big enough role here to make a difference.

I don't watch many Notre Dame games. Maybe two or three in the last four years. I'm aware of the hype, I just don't see him in action much.

Te'o is an absolute monster....we probably won't be in position to grab him. He is very similar to Willis, so if we do actually keep winning, he won't be there.....
If he was there I'd hope we take him....

Not to get ahead of ourselves, but if he's there, you take him. He has that Patrick Willis factor where he's just every where the football is. I would gladly move Foster to the SAM and take Teo. As much as I love Foster, this guy's a game changer.
Realistically though, I don't think we take him because I think in the end Teo goes top 5, so unless we are pickin there unfortanetly, I don't see us having the chance.
That's what seperates the Elite teams and the good/bad teams. You don't draft a guy because of need. If he's going to be an elite guy in the NFL, and he's there, you take him. |
