This week on Sunday Night Football we have two powerhouses in the NFC East being the (now) 2-0 Eagles vs the 2-1 Giants. This being their first match up of the year both sides looking to prove that they are the best in the east.
Giants
After last weeks win against the Panthers the giants look to prove that they still have it. With a break out game by Barden and another dominating performace by Brown, these two look to repeat their performances against their NFC East rivals in the Eagles. Eli Manning looking like an elite Quarterback comes into the game looking to redeem the Giants loss to the eagles a year ago. And hopes to do so in a dominating performance.
Eagles
Starting their season 2-0 the Eagles must first stop by Arizona and prove that they are more than just a team that wins by a point. After leaving Arizona the Eagles look to host their rivals the Giants. Vick coming off a less than stellar year so far having six interceptions so far looks to end this cold streak and prove that he still has it. On the other side of the field the Eagles defensive line looks to keep their mean streak going and get at Manning as much as possible.
Matchups
Michael Vick
After two games already Vick is leading the league in interceptions and looks to prove against the giants secondary that he still has what it takes to be a starter in the NFL. After their win against Baltimore Vick was completing 72% of his passes and threw a touchdown. He also ran the ball 10 times for 34 yards with and carried in a touchdown. But Vick did turn the ball over two times through the air, and after a few hits from Baltimore's defense he looked to be shaken up a bit. Michael Vick looks to come out strong against this Giants defense and wants over 250 yards with a pair of touchdowns and keeping his interception total to zero.
Eli Manning
Week 3 against the Panthers Eli Manning could do no wrong completing 77% of his passes for 288 yards. He also threw for a touchdown and no interceptions. Eli looked like his normal self last week and wants to do the same to the Eagles. The Giants offensive line did a great job at keeping the Panthers defenders off of Eli and they look to do the same to a tough Eagles d-line. Manning looks to come into this game and beat down the eagles and their two pro bowl corners. He is looking for a 300 yard game with a pair of touchdowns as well. And looks to keep the ball out of Nnamdi and Rodgers-Cromartie's hands. This game will show if Barden and Brown are ready for the nfl. But however it turns out this is definitely a must watch game.
Predictions
Giants 35 Eagles 31
Again Id love feedback ... still a little uncomfortable doing them _________________

Thanks ... my biggest worry was that there was too little information.
And yea I find my self skipping over something that is longer than a paragraph
This game has the build up that its going to be great. _________________

YES!
I really want to see the Giants win this one. Last year was really satisfying when the Giants won in the Linc. Here's hoping they can do it again |

Wonder if we are finally able to win one or if the Eagles will take care off that for us and beat themselves... _________________

In all seriousness, I think you guys win a close one. I see both defenses having a big day. |
