He has been just a tier below the pro bowl level at his position for a long time. He has been asked to change position numerous times and each time he does what is asked of him very competently.
Look through history and cross check with various media analysis over the past decade, it is evident the type of player DJ has been on the field. This is not just a fan's perspective.
The bottom line remains that anyone who thinks Woodyard is the same caliber player as DJ Williams has a personal bias or is completely delusional. That's all I have to say on this matter. Cheers. |
Or it could be that your delusional. It works both ways. Most agree he is a good linebacker. He is no one is disputing it. However, he is one boneheaded move away from a year long suspension( which given his history is inevitable) he is suspended for cheating on his urine test, and has shown to be untrustworthy by posting plays on Twitter. This shows he is not committed to the team. In the words of Mike Singletary " Can not play with him, Can not win with him, Can not coach with him. Can't do it" _________________

Dude go and look at all the Williams threads, I am usually first or close to first in line calling for the nitwit to be cut. His problems off the field are not worth keeping him and I supported having Woodyard/Trevathon take all the reps during TC.
My issue is the FACT that Woodyard is no where near the player Williams-period. |
