Per Jurecki and urban.
"Kolb's wife is expecting any day and kolb says he will not miss the birth of his first child". Kolb said he hope that she does go into labor on sunday but he is not missing the birth of his child.
If this is the case it makes things very interesting as we would have to activate skelton and put lindley out there.
Well thoughts guys................... |

Who would have thought we'd hear a Cardinals fan say that a month ago? _________________ Favorite 2015 Prospects: Tyler Lockett WR, Tevin Coleman RB, Laken Tomlinson OG, Shaq Thompson LB, Nate Orchard OLB |

Sure Skelton could play this week. Would not be 100% but he could most likely play. |

I never thought I would see that kind of post, ever.
But props to Kolb for making this decision. I actually posted a thread about Big Ben claiming he would do the same (his wife is pregnant too), and agree with their stance on the issue. _________________ 2013 Eagles Forum HOF

Oh wait, this isn't this week. She's due October 4th.
Skelton will be back by then, easy. |

well the whole point is she could go into labor any day so kolb is a little worried that there is a chance she could go early.
My apologies yes i meant to type third child. |

That's not what is being reported. She's due October 4th, the Cards play a Thursday Night Game against the Rams on October 4th. That's the worry.
No quote from anybody talking about the game 2 days from now. Kolb's gonna play Sunday. |

OK the post did say Sundays game. If Ryan lindley starts we have no chance at all. |

Kolb said the doctor told them nothing is imminent and he's still holding to the due date of October 4th. The quotes from Jurecki and Urban, I looked them both up on twitter, both say that Kolb could be in danger of missing A game (Presumably the October 4th game). No quote, not from Jurecki, not from Urban, not from Somers, not from Kolb himself say he's in any danger of missing THIS game.
Unless something completely crazy goes on, Kolb will suit up for us Sunday. |

OK good. I would like to see Kolb play even when Skelton comes back. Until he proves otherwise of course. |

Hope everything runs smoothly for them. This would be exactly a week ahead of schedule. _________________
