The Patriots Suck. The End. - Week Three
Baltimore Ravens (1-1) vs New England Patriots (1-1)
Date: Sunday, September 23nd, 2012, 8:20pm EST
Location: M&T Bank Stadium
Channel: NBC
It's that time of year again, when we play our most hated rival, the only team that invokes more fury, disdain, and hatred than the Pittsburgh Steelers. Yes, this Sunday we get to host those prissy do-gooders from up North called...The Patriots *shudders*, just saying their name makes me twitch.
But on a more positive note, a heated rivalry brings with it, drum roll please...the return of the patented top ten list!
This week we have....
Top Ten Reasons Why We Should Hate Tom Brady:
10] The guy honestly thinks he can pull off ANY hairstyle....
9] The guy's baby mama is Bridget Moynahan, and his wife is Gisele Bündchen. Can we say GREEDY?!

8] The man whines like a little....school girl. -_-
7] THIS is what he calls dancing, I use the term very loosely...
6] Because even Chuck Norris hates Tom Brady. Btw, did anyone know Chuck Norris is 72 years old? I guess even old age is scared of Chuck Norris.
5] The guy is a self proclaimed "model". Maybe I just have bad fashion sense, but I'm not really sure I'd call this modeling...

4] At one point in time, Tom Brady copped the Beebs' hairstyle. One does not simply imitate the Beebs.
3] He plays for the team that this happened against...
2] Oh, and this too....
(P.S. TOTALLY stole that from the Pats forum....DO SOMETHING )
And the number one reason to hate Tom Brady...
1] The guy wears UGGs. Even on Gameday! C'mon son!
Don't worry Patriots, this time, we're ready for you!

Every time I scrolled down, I laughed out loud. Great thread RTID!
I must admit, I'm very nervous for this game because our lack of pass rush. Nothing is even going to scare Brady because when Suggs was on the field, it gave Brady the sense that the pass rush could be coming, but without Suggs, he will just have to find where 20 is and go from there.
I hope Pollard can play somewhere near 95%, because he's going to be covering Gronk all day long (sorry Gronk, you're guaranteed to be injured at least once this game...).
Other than Gronk none of their WR's scare me. Welker is a short yardage guy and Lloyd is "meh", but still with ample time, Brady could pick us apart.
On offense; who the hell knows what's going to happen; I just hope I see some freaking no huddle! _________________

Great work as always. I approve for the Zack Morris gif.
As for my weekly predictions that are never remotely correct:

Rice: 14 carries, 68 yards, TD; 4 rec, 29 yards
Boldin: 3 rec, 46 yards
Smith: 4 rec, 67 yards, TD
Pitta: 6 rec, 49 yards, TD
Jones: 2 rec, 38 yards
Brady: 23/32, 296 yards, 2 TD, 1 INT
Reed: 1 INT
Webb: 1 INT
McPhee: 1.5 sacks
Ngata: .5 sacks
Tucker: 1/1 FG, 48 yards _________________

Are you predicting a 2nd QB to come in for the Pats and throw a pick?

Oops, I originally had him throwing 2 but changed it. Ok, replace that with Ed and Webb having .5 each and they both hold the ball together and run it in for 6 while doing a synchronized front flip with a half twist as they enter the endzone. _________________

Before last week's game, I predicted that:
1. Ray Rice will be very effective against the Eagles D
2. Flacco and the passing game would have a much tougher time
3. Cam will stubbornly insist on trying to pass our way to victory
Unfortunately, all of those seemed true.
However this week, I feel like we will have to pass a lot to win the game. I think the Pats will key in on Rice, and will do a decent job of containing him. Flacco may not be an elite QB, but he may look like it to the Pats defenders coming off facing Jake Locker and Kevin Kolb. |

Yep last week should have been a run to set up the pass. This week should be a pass to set up the run.
Would love to see that no huddle with some pace to it... but i would guess that's wishful thinking _________________

Someone should make a "I have a disease, and the only cure is....MOAR NO HUDDLE!" picture or something like that, to mimic the "more cowbell" thing.
But seriously, if we run no-huddle against NE we're going to have some success. That defense isn't very good and they don't have good speed rushers (which is what kills us, I think). And HOPEFULLY with a healthy, creative dose or Ray Rice we should be in business to keep the ball out Brady's hands and MAKE him score on every possession he gets, against a rested defense. _________________

I think we're going to roll. Patriots O Line looks shaky. I don't think they can be as effective without both the TEs. Our crowds going to be hyped like it's a playoff game. I think we'll go no huddle a lot and light them up.
Patriots 17, Ravens 34
Anyone heard anything about unis? Seems like a perfect spot to go all black. _________________

I would love to see us go purple tops, black pants. I personally like those better than all black.
As far as the game, I think this will be close, but we'll pull out. The crowd will be extra pumped and Brady may struggle with the noise.
34 - 28, Ravens. _________________ RAY RICE
