Geez the way some folks write off players so quickly is just perplexing. He is a 4th rounder who needs some polish to his game. It would have been nice for him to come in right away and challenge for a starting spot. He didnt.
Lets at least give him a couple seasons to see what he might evolve in to before we kick him to the curb. I guarantee you if he were cut he would never have made it through waivers. I remember quite a few folks who wanted to tab Trevor Pryce a bust because he looked awful early in his career. Not to say Blake is the equivalent of Pryce but I think you get my point.

I only saw him one time and he looked really heavy footed. Like he was playing in ankle deep mud.

With a lot of work that can be corrected. (like running in place w/ high knees for an hour a day for a year) Wink
