Tight end Todd Heap had an MRI on his injured knee. Results haven’t come back yet, coach Ken Whisenhunt said. I didn’t get the sense the coach was fearing something serious, but again, he didn’t go any further than saying the MRI happened. Whiz did say he liked how Rob Housler performed Sunday.

Hope this comes back negative. He was legitimately good yesterday, big part of the win. _________________

heap been diagnosed with a strained PCL. He said it's a day-to-day thing. No idea if he'll miss any time or not. _________________

It was interesting how his usage last game was spaced. He was targeted 9 times, 7 of those were in the first half, he caught both of his targets in the second half, but his usage fell off, you expect that with someone leaving with an injury, but I thought he left mid 4th quarter, is that right?
Fitzgerald was thrown at 5 times, 3 of which were in the second half. _________________ Patrick Peterson - 92 targets, 40 catches allowed, 602 yards, 6 TD's, 7 INT's

He left after he got hit late on the big 20+ yard catch.
That's what really sucks, the hit that put him out was late and illegal. It drew a flag but still. _________________

Heap looked very good, yes. Proof that the preseason doesn't matter.
A lot of people wanted him cut after the preseason... _________________

Yeah people on this board other then a couple were the worst offenders. Acting like pre season means something. I knew Ray Horton wasn't going to show anything. he is smarter then that. |
