An interesting article from the BBC today. For one, its using some fine Denver defensive play as a pictorial reference, but also interesting to see how the long-term health implications of the sport are now getting international recognition.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-19549703
Quote: | Charlie Camosy is a big fan of American football.
"It's a great combination of raw caveman strength and gladiatorial combat and the most complicated chess match you can ever imagine," he says, noting that this time of year - when football returns - is one of his favourites.
|
I'm not sure that Camosy is the best person to offer an insight, but an interesting comment on the ethics of watching a sport that can cause such degenerative conditions. |

I have yet to see any football player do the gangnam style dance. I'm surprised to be honest. _________________

not a fan of the apple laptops, not for what they cost at least. the iphones on the other hand are a good bang for your buck (if you're due for an upgrade).
I have an upgrade, and my phone broke last week so I had to buy a crappy go phone crackberry to hold me over, so i'll be up at 3a.m. to be one of the first pre-orders. Hope i dont have to wait too long, this phone im using now is brutal... doesn't even work, says I don't have a sim in it (even though i do) it drops all my calls, and wont let me check email without rejecting my sim. everytime it rejects my sim i have to turn it off then on again. really all its good for is texting, so im excited to pre-order this iphone5. |

Only problem with the iPhone is after awhile the battery starts having problems, my old 3GS would be 100% charged. Freeze, then after awhile turn back on being 25% charged and take hours to charge up. _________________

yea ive had a 3gs forever and i can sap the battery pretty fast. Ive found they charge much faster in the car than in the wall socket... dk why, but its been the case for me. |
