Hey Texans fans! I wasn't able to catch much of the Texans-Phins game, but I saw his catch/non-catch in the endzone. I've flirted with picking him up before week one and he is still a FA in both of my leagues. Does he look like a decent bet to get #2 WR targets?

I don't think so. Besides Andre and Owen Daniels (to a lesser extent) no Texan receiver is guaranteed to get more than 2 or so targets. He could be a valuable pickup when going into a game against a team like Nee Orleans, Green Bat, or New England; games that are likely to be more of a shootout.

he is our #3 possibly our #4 at some points so i wouldnt pick him up

If you are in a keeper/dynasty I'd take a flyer.
If it is just a one off I wouldn't unless it is a really deep league or you are stone cold set everywhere else.
Personally I see him progressing in the way a Torrey Smith did last year. Nothing much in the beginning but really picking it up to be a viable #3WR or Flex play at around week 10ish. So take that and make you decision, personally I'm not looking at him in anything but a keeper/dynasty right now.
