Some Questions for the game

-Primetime in the Black Hole, how big of an advantage will it be?

-Can Brown, Battle, and Brinkley do enough to make up for Mathews being out?

-Can Meachem and Rivers get it together enough to have a deep option, without forcing it?

-Were the 20 INT's last year a fluke?

-Will the upgrades in the front 7 give the secondary a boost?

Hopefully the Jets performance today put to rest the 'preseason does matter' crowd. I'm sick of hearing how bad Rivers and the team are because of a few miscues in the preseason.

Anyways, this game provides an interesting match up between two teams that could make a good run for the postseason. The Raiders defense has given the Chargers some trouble lately, but with some injuries and young players there is a lot of uncertainty. The Chargers on the other hand have an offense full of question marks, and a defense that is coming off a historically bad season.

I think this game is going to come down to the wire in the 4th quarter. Ruvers and Palmer are both as likely to throw 3 TDs as they are tossing a few INTs so I can't call it either way.

Going to be interesting to see how the Chargers offense looks tonight we get to play you guys next week.

I HATE the start time of this game... wont be able to watch it live since I have to be up at 3:20am for work tomorrow. Definitely recording it on the old DVR though.

Really interested to see how our front 7 does and how the new guys look. I'm concerned about our LT position, seems funny Gaither got paid then hasn't done anything since and I've read that the Chargers are "hopeful" he'll return this season... WTF. Tonight could get ugly, will definitely have alot of TE help on the left side, which means we get to see Clary let defenders by throughout the night.

I'm expecting a close frustrating game tonight, with the final outcome a Chargers W. In close games, which I suspect tonight will be, I always go with the better QB. But this game might be out of reach if we can't contain RUN DMC.

I have no doubt that this will be a close, physical game. The key is limiting the damage from Darren McFadden. But even though I say that I know Carson Palmer always finds a way to kill us. At the very least, I don't think the Raiders are going to physically push us around like they have the last couple of years. Should be a good one.
