Sheeesh we really can't catch a break... We must've sold our team's well-being just to win that Super Bowl. _________________

Guess it cud be worse with wells though Sounds like they put him on the IR "The Rams will use the NFL's new injured reserve exemption rule. That designation means Wells can return to practice as early as Week 6 and can play in games as early as Week 8. But for now, they get a roster space cleared up for him as if he was on IR for the entire year" mayb some hope ?? _________________

I hope the coaching And scout staff is already looking hard at the best and most versatile lineman in the draft Barrett Jones | Talk about completely irrational overreaction. Not to mention not even true |

I'd take Ricky Wagner and Chance Warmack though. _________________ Jared Cook: MIA

We still have a Center, and we need a guy who can play RT more than anything. Dont see that being Jones in the NFL |

This is incorrect. Wells was put in the new IR slot that allows him to be taken off in Week 6 to practice and play starting Week 8. He's not out for the year.
But yes, it is ridiculous how unlucky we are. _________________

Firstly, I made this same statement before the season started. Secondly, In my opinion he is the best OL and without a doubt the most versatile... He can literally play ever position on the line and play it well. To be able to plug a guy in and not have to worry about a drop in performance is a very rare and valuable thing.
Im not trying to argue just agree to disagree. I hardly think its an overreaction though because I think despite Wells getting hurt IR or not, we still need an upgrade at OL whether it be LG or RT and Wells isnt exactly a sprung chicken... And wouldnt you know... Barrett Jones can play all 3 spots... |

Last season it was the secondary, now it's the offensive line, don't know what to think anymore |

Bad news indeed, sorry to hear guys. I always really liked Scott Wells, it's too bad we couldn't have brought him back. It seems like whenever an interior offensive linemen leaves us via FA their career just dies, usually they're older guys, but I can't remember anyone other than Adam Timmerman who did anything after he left. Hopefully you guys can salvage a couple of good years out of him. _________________ Follow me on Twitter @CalhounLambeau |
