We've done this before, but for those that are new, rank our top 5 (or so) teams needs based COMPLETELY on this game. This means disregard injuries/suspensions etc. This is ONLY for this game. _________________

1. CBx2 - It was painfully obvious that Routt is not Carr, and Reeves is beyond bad. We need 2 new starting CBs next year IMO (obviously Flowers is one of them.
2. OLB - This will be off the list next week, but it was clear that we have no pass rush from the outside besides Houston and Hali.
3. LG - Lilja was just plain bad in the second half. Repeatedly destroyed
4. FB - We tried using Eachus as a FB for maybe a couple plays and he was terrible. He shouldn't be active the rest of the season, in fact, cut him now, bring in any random DB.
5. QB - Matt's ball placement was better than I've ever seen it, but he still doesn't have "IT". He doesn't consistently feel pressure, he committed the #1 QB no-no (late and over the middle/across the field), and when the going got tough, Matt didn't get going.
Let's hear it KC fans, what do we need? _________________

CB I agree with RVM this could be 2
OLB
FS
LG
QB
And as far as what I think we need in the draft at this point...
QB Round 1
CB Round 2
FS/MLB Round 3/4 in some order
CB Round 5
SS Round 6
Now I think you get my point, but I don't see us finishing bad enough not to have to move up for a QB...so round 2 could be gone, in which case I want a FA CB.
And to piggy back off of KC_Guy
Health Heart and some way to get SOME pressure from our D-Line. _________________

This is how I'd go in the draft next year:
1.QB
2.CB
3.QB
4.CB
5.QB
6.CB
7.QB

Routt was okay today, so im confused. Maybe if Crennel wasnt playing horrible 10 yard soft zone coverages with a 3-4 man rush with run stoppers wed have had a better day on defense. Nothing Routt, more of a man corner, can do when youre giving Jones-White such a huge cushion, and I thought he did well despite it. One bad play where he slipped, but hes a number 2 for a reason.
Now Jacques Reeves on the other hand shouldnt be anywhere near a Starting NFL CB position, which makes sense since hes a 3rd stringer. Shouldve moved Daniels up to corner. For this game Reeves made corner a huge need. _________________

Welcome to Stanford Routt. He's frustrating. No flags that I saw on him today, which is a plus but you see him grab and pull on WR when they turn him around.
That said, he should rebound, but he's a very average CB.
QB needs addressed. Cassel shows you things and you want to buy in, but once his back is against the wall, he goes to crap.
KC is young. They need to add a young QB to grow w/ this squad and they will be scary for a long time. Waiting on Cassel to be something more than meh just isn't getting it done. _________________

Palooka I think you're preaching to the choir, but all valid points.
Carr was good, we downgraded with Routt, hopefully when he isn't counted on to be the second best player, but rather the 4th...he'll get to be a decent player.
Cassel, made some of the best throws that I've ever seen him make today. Then got rattled on the fumble, lost an INT to a bad bounce and then made an absolutely moronic throw back across his body and the field for his second INT.
We are young, and I think it's clear we need a young QBOTF, short of picking up a guy like Sanchez (if he hits the market which is a mistake in my opinion) I don't see any options than doing whatever it takes to get a first round QB. _________________
