The Grigson/Pagano/Luck era begins

Andrew Luck has looked really good this preseason, but that was mostly against vanilla defenses and even then the OL hasn't looked all that great. The one promising thing about the OL is that Castonzo and Reitz have been very solid. Of course Reitz has missed a few practices with a knee injury and won't play against the Bears.

Colts Injuries
Out
LB Pat Angerer - foot
LG Joe Reitz - knee

Questionable
RB Delone Carter - chest/ribs
WR Austin Collie - head/concussion
WR T.Y. Hilton - shoulder

Probable
RB Mewelde Moore - chest/ribs
CB Jerraud Powers - knee
LE Cory Redding - knee

Bears Injuries
Questionable
RB Lorenzo Booker - head

Probable
S Chris Conte - shoulder
P Adam Podlesh - hip
LB Brian Urlacher - knee

If Cutler and Marshall can conjuer up the chemistry they had from their days in Denver, I don't think the Colts offense will be able to keep up.

Bears 31 - Colts 23

I can imagine Cutler going at least 300 yards on the Colts defense.

Good luck! I hope the Colts pull off the upset. I'm interested to see how Luck looks in his debut.

I was listening to the Colts Authority podcast and they were previewing this game and one of them brought up the Denver game where Brandon Marshall caught 20 passes and the other host said "Won't happen we won't have 4'9" Tim Jennings covering him"

Prior to the Davis trade..........I would've actually said at least Tim Jennings gives up yardage and not as much TD's with the cushion he plays with.

I believe Jennings didn't give up a single touchdown last year. He seems to have really turned his career around with the Bears. Hasn't grown any taller though.

The Davis/Marshall matchup should be pretty awesome. I wonder if Vontae shadows him the whole game.

Colts inactives

https://twitter.com/mchappell51/status/244820570749939712

Quote:
#colts inactives: WRs Austin Collie, TY Hilton, G Joe Reitz, QB Chandler Harnish, RB Delone Carter, LB Pat Angerer, OL Mike Person.

So Seth Olsen will start for Reitz and Avery will start for Collie.

Active WRs are: Wayne, Avery, Brazill and Kris Adams (# changed from 7 to 81)

First the special teams cuts Hester off at the 15, then Mathis gets the sack.

Great Start

It's like I don't even recognize this team anymore.

Irsay has got to be happy with the special teams play so far. Hopefully they keep it up.
