Loved him when he played in Texas. Sad to see his career drop-off when he hit Dallas.

what really happened to this guy. seemed like he was going to be dominate and then kinda just fell off the map.

Never figured out what went wrong after he left the Lions. Seems like a lot of guys are retiring at a young age in the NFL this year (though I haven't heard Williams name mentioned in a few years now so its not too surprising)

| I'm actually impressed with this decision, the Dolphins called him up for a tryout and he wasn't interested, so he was honest enough with himself to officially call it quits. |

think if charles rogers panned out (i know they wouldnt have if roy and rodgers panned out) but rodgers roy CJ....

They drafted 3 WRs in a row.
If 2 of those 3 had panned out, CJ wouldnt have been drafted likely.
Still hard to believe that they did that....Matt Millen was sooooo bad.

His heart was in Detroit. It stopped beating the moment he was traded. There was that infamous quote about how he ripped the Cowboys organization for not having the heart that the Lions organization did.

Heart huh? Well it sure didn't translate it to thier record at the time he was there.
My memory of Roy Williams in Dallas was Romo in 3rd and 10 , slings it to Roy, drops it, and he gets off the field with a big smile on his face. This happened too many times.

Barely noticed him while he was in Chicago. He was a waste of a uniform and accomplished zilch. The hardest he worked was picking up his paycheck and driving it to the bank.
I am willing to bet that signing him was the brainchild of the mad retard Mike Martz. |
