Just really don't expect too much. He will be a ghost some games and then get beat repeatedly some games. |

'Chimney' Checkwa - always getting smoked
We know a thing or 5 about watching guys get beat repeatedly.

DVD was a terrible player in college and was the cliche Al Davis selection. Reminds me a lot of Kelly Jennings as a player, though he doesn't even possess the man-to-man skills that Jennings had.

I had high hopes for DVD this offseason, after showing flashes here and there last preseason/regular season. Hated the draft pick at the time because he is as frail as Betty White, but showed great speed (Duh) and the occasional good cover skills. Made great hits occasionally which was surprising, but overall terrible tackler and bad player. Thought he'd break out this offseason but I was wrong. Glad to see Reggie calling a spade a spade.
And Hanson is a fine nickel corner, period.
