Quote: | Evan Moore said he heard from other teams after being waived, but quickly added, “This is where I wanted to be. There was no question in my mind. I wanted to come play for coach (Pete) Carroll and be a Seahawk.” |
Gotta like to hear that from the new guy.
Quote: | Rookie J.R. Sweezy continued to work at right guard, where he started the last three preseason games. But James Carpenter, last year’s first-round draft choice, got some work at left guard with the No. 2 line. |
My guess is that they put Carp at starting LG when he's back, use Sweezy as a utility lineman unless Moffitt plays poorly, cut Omiyale, and have McQuistin be the backup LT and LG.
Raiders got Phillip Adams and Lions got Kris Durham.
Quote: | Rookie cornerback Jeremy Lane, who had been No. 1, has switched to No. 37; while rookie safety DeShawn Shead, who’s on the practice squad, is wearing No. 35 rather than No. 5. Linebacker Mike Morgan also made a switch from No. 48 to No. 57. |
I liked Morgan as #48. _________________

With Durham & Megatron on opposite sides of the field, good luck with your 5'10 DB's! _________________ "We have met the enemy & he is us."- Pogo |

Check that, TE Sean McGrath was apparently cut from the practice squad. UW WR Jermaine Kearse has taken his spot. Edwan Coughman takes the 8th spot as a Canadian league player that the team has used at both LT and DT.
I'm really surprised Cordarro Law can't make the team.... _________________

Quote: | Wide receiver Golden Tate did not practice to rest the knee he twisted in Thursday night’s preseason finale against the Raiders. Braylon Edwards worked at split end for Tate. **Also sitting out were running back Marshawn Lynch (back)** and rookie defensive lineman Greg Scruggs (hamstring). |
Does the red flag popup for anyone else when they read this, just how bad is this 'back injury' of Lynch's?, I know they want Marshawn fully healthy going into week 1, but the game is 5 days away and Lynch is still on the sidelines rest his back.. I just hope it's nothing more than precautionary at this point.
and I haven't seen anything about Golden's knee on the web, besides rumors and speculation that he may miss 2-3 weeks, but nothing official yet.

That doesn't sound good, I'm sure he'll play against a division rival but maybe we'll see turbin get more carries to keep lynch limited and healthy. |

Did Durham make the 53 for the lions ? I thought he was just on their practice squad, hope he does well there. We had a lit of guys battling for 2-3 spots nut I thought he had lots of talent. |

Meh, its just back spasms. The thing about back (or any other kind of) spasms, is you just want to rest em. No sense in aggravating it, because that's an injury that can get out of hand if you pick at it. Marshawn doesn't really need much more practice, he knows the offense. I'm not too worried. If we're still hearing this on thursday or friday, then i'll be concerned. _________________

Tate will miss the first two week's reported on NFL AM no idea why Caroll had him out there returning punt's in garbage time i don't fully blame Caroll though Tate should of fair caught the ball. |

really bad news for Tate tbh. We should be ok vs the Cards and Boys, he was the #4 receiver on this roster and was prolly due 3-4 touches a game at the most. Would i rather have him? Of course, and this could be bad if we get any injuries at receiver the first to weeks
For tate, 14 weeks is plenty of time to prove yourself however _________________
