I'm too lazy to do a write up, may do one later.

as of now Lewis is basically out, Flowers is "sounding hopeful" and DJ should be good to go. This all according to Teicher on Twitter.

RVM, You're too lazy to even spell "write up"....don't ever bug me about grammar nonsense again...this is like two times i've caught you.

Mike or a mod...edit his post so we don't have to scroll over.

Wow, I hope the Chiefs don't start out like that their first two possessions.

I'm stoked for this game. Its going to be a huge test for this team and RAC. We are really going to have to do everything well if we want to win this one...

Few things;

We don't match up well with the Falcons defensively. They will force us to play a lot of base defence b/c we need to respect the run. From that def. we are really susceptible to the pass. JJ is a beast and I don't like any match up we have one him. Especially when he is over Flowers. Brightside struggles with speed and JJ has speed to burn.
We have to stop their run game, force them into passing situations where we can play more nickel and try and put some pressure on Matty Ice.

Offensively I like our chances. We can move the ball on this defence if we don't abandon the run. We really need to control the ball so we can keep our Dline fresh. No 3 and outs for the entire first half like it seemed was our standard last year.

I think if we can hold them to 17 points we will win. But thats a tough task, especially with out Tambahawk. Thats really going to hurt us IMO.

Objectively I want to pick the Falcons but it's the first game I can't do it Laughing

Chiefs 21
Falcons 17

No Tamba, no win. Sorry to be the downer but I give the nod to the team that knows how to win (at least in the regular season Razz ). I do hope Berry neutralizes Tony G though.

On a separate note: anybody gonna start a Pick'em and/or Survivor thread?

A few thots/questions on a few players:

*Breaston-Sooner rather than later, Bowe will be the main guy again opposite Baldwin. With DMX in the slot, how often will Breaston see the field? Will he play slot instead of DMX in some sets? Will he just play in 4 wide or to spell Bowe/Baldwin.

*Toribio/Poe-For some reason i missed if Toribio is healthy or not. Is it possible we have a 1st rounder exceed expectations?

*Cassel-I think he's proven that he hasn't really improved and his problems weren't Haley's fault. Even if Moeaki catches that 30 yarder , he wasn't all that good vs a preseason defense without establishing the running game. That doesn't mean he can't be more effective than ever with the talent around him.

*Routt-can he play without killer penalties and make the loss of Carr less significant.

*Charles- If he's anywhere close to all the way back with a better team and better O-Line, what will that mean for his stats/ypc? The sky is the limit, I think he's gonna tear it up.

I would have no issue doing it at all, but I am finally going back to school this year so I dont want to burden myself too much. I can def lend a hand if need be but I cannot run it by myself.

I can run one or help if needed.

After all I need to defend my first place rights of the Pick'em. Cool
