I'm hoping to listen to a win today at work. I want to make sure everyone realizes that if we sweep the Yankees here, we are tied for first in the AL East. This is just craziness. |

Yankees havent lost a division lead in September since the 70s so yes it would be crazy to have happen.

Well I guess I jinxed us. That game was a heartbreaker. Hopefully we have better luck today. |

Who needs luck when we got Reynolds?
Seriously juiced for the game I'm going to on the 7th (against the Yanks). Hopefully we can close the gap to 1 or tie it up before then. I'd love to be at The Yard when we take the division lead. _________________

Sad thin is, there will still be a crap-load of Yankees/Sox fans at The Yard, no matter how good the O's do. The stadium is still half-empty when it's not the Yanks or Sox too.
COME ON BALTIMORE, YOU'RE BETTER THAN THIS!!! _________________

Meh. Attendance is up 25% for the year already. The WhiteSox series was the first week of school starting back, the Grand Prix in town (they paved over the Amtrax tracks I believe it was making it near impossible to get into the Harbor without driving/walking through stupid traffic), and a few other things so I wouldn't look much into that.
Ripken statue game on the 6th is sold out, and I've read the 8th is likely to sell out, too. Friday and Sundays game have a shot, but probably a bit unlikely.
On that note, have been looking for tickets to the game on the 8th (stubhub/craigslist) and they aren't cheap at all. Premium game, playoff race, Yankees in town... I guess it's to be expected... but damn. $90 for outfield seats that usually cost me $19. Mehhhhhhh _________________ When you go in the lion's den, you don't tippy toe in — you carry a spear, you go in screaming like a banshee, you kick whatever doors in, and say, 'Where's the SOB?' Went to try to scoop up some tickets for throw back prices night, but damn they went fast. Both Tues/Weds nights only had 1 seat left each. Oh well, girlfriend has been wanting to go to a game so I just paid full price and put us in 1st row in Sec 76 LF lower box for Tues night. Still only $25/ticket. Trying to make it onto SportsCenter again _________________

Yeah I got tickets Thursday for Wednesday night's game and there were hardly any of the Throwback tickets left. The $4 bleacher seats were already sold out so I took what was left of the $8 tickets. |

I was too drunk to care. I'm lying, I was still sad. I got to drunkenly yell obscenities at Curtis Granderson though. _________________
