If it wasn't from Caplan I'd be saying the same thing, wait to here it from Whiz but Adam Caplan is very, very credible. |

Called it.
Wiz made the right choice. I was really hoping he'd go with Kolb for week 1 _________________

I'm Happy for Skelton. I really hope Whiz looks at the offense and does everything he can to protect Skelton like the 49ers did for Smith last year. |

49ers ran the ball over 52% of the time last year. Though I agree that the team's best chance for success relies on a field position game (taking advantage of the good D & ST), I don't know that Whiz has the players and the internal wiring to focus mostly on the running game. Could the OL really open up holes when they would likely see more players regularly in the box for whole games? While I believe he actually will call more run plays this season, I don't think he could change his stripes to the extent of running over 50% of the time. _________________

Matt Leinart- 6 years, 50 million
Kevin Kolb- 6 years, 63 million
yeah, I guess you could say we have a habbit of overpaying our back up QBs. _________________

I just want Whiz to protect Skelton that all. Does not mean it has to be run all game. |

Oh, I gotcha. I think he will, but I'm guessing he probably won't admit to protecting him. Whiz has already expressed interest in running the ball more this year when discussing the OL since Levi's injury. Given his basic offensive philosophy though, I was just stating that I doubted he would stop passing over 50% of the time. _________________
