Cook traded to Dallas for 7th

From Twitter looks like we've traded C Ryan Cook to Dallas for a 7th.

Pretty nothing trade really, but I do like trades like these where we get something for someone unlikely to make the roster (or any real contribution if they did). IMO these late picks can be important, not for the selection in itself but because it allows us to move up for the players we want in the 3rd/4th/5th rounds.

he was costing us a mil or slightly more and Samuda had shown something. I didnt like the pick up initially and he was pretty much an insurance policy.

yeah.. no big deal... Garner has even played some C... Samuda will now be #2 OC .. Maybe a Money move.. but now we better put the cash to good use..

I liked the guy, he was like 6 points lower than Pouncey in madden 13, decent back up, lol.

7th though is iffy, should have been a 6th from Dallas a possible playoff team.

Whats the deal on this guy? Can't say I know anything about him. Our Centers suck, so if he is an upgrade then awesome.

Seriously though, good trade for both sides. We get over a mil off our salary cap, when we have another guy just as good to be our backup, and Dallas gets a guy to compete who will work better in their system. Win/Win

keep piling on the picks and yes that gives us 10 picks and a ton of cap room next off season top 5 in availabe to spend,wait that might not be a good thing if nobody wants to come lol jk jk....
