Thought we would change it up, given its the 4th Preseason game.... but feel free to do it the old way...
But my thought was instead of 5 Up and 5 Down, we could do...
5 Earned Roster Spots
(Chris Rainey Edition)
5 Lost Roster Spots
(whether due to bad play or great plays by others) _________________ Stay low boys.... keep those feet moving!

Don't believe 5 were earned from today, so this will be all 4 games:
1. Adrian Robinson
2. Robert Golden
3. Baron Batch
4. David Gilreath
5. Will Johnson
5 spots lost:
1. David Johnson
2. John Clay
3. Will Allen
4. Kapinos
5. Beachum (could've beat out Essex if he played average) |

That will work.... just figured it would be appropriate since the 4th game is more for the bubble players making the team. _________________ Stay low boys.... keep those feet moving!

Sylvester likely wouldnt have lost his spot even with a healthy Spence due to lack of depth.
Rainey IMO had one locked up the last two weeks and was his to lose.
I agree with Golden and Butler.
I didnt expect any of those players on the "bye bye" section to make it except Allen maybe...who I still think may be retained (but shouldnt be)
Question is, who is our 5th WR? Or do we leave that for Rainey as a RB/WR/RS type? _________________

I think the 5th WR is Williams.
Worilds should lose his spot but I think they will keep him.
For the bye-bye slot it is tough because I think there are not 5 slots open. 5th WR. Allen should be gone but special teams are less than special which may save his bacon.
I should have said that Paulson and Chris scott will make the roster but be cut when Saunders and Decastro come back. _________________

IMO, that's a total tossup between Gilreath and Williams. Im choosing Gilreath because of special teams. Im thinking either Woods or Bryant makes our team, but not sure which. Also, I think Golden is safe so not sure if a 5th CB will be kept, maybe Victorian or a 5th safety: DRC or Will Allen. Will be interesting!! |
