OL hasn't been healthy nor played together.
Robinson isn't on the same page as Gabbert.
Gabbert looks better, needs to unlock off of Blackmon.
Blackmon has been as advertised.
If we lose Daryl Smith, LBs are average at best. |
Is the OL expected to be healthy and together for week 1?

Depends if Uche's injury tonight is as minor as they say and if they decide to put Britton somewhere on the line.

I haven't really been that impressed with anyone outside Jennings personally.
The stats look good, but so many of Parmele and Toston's big gains have come with ludicrously clean holes, without being touched. That's not going to happen against 'real' defenses. When they've got traffic, clogged up lanes, bodies flying everywhere, and can't just waltz their way outside containment like it's no big thing...they haven't impressed me a whole lot. Not at all sold on their ability to translate their promising play to the regular season.
Not to say they couldn't surprise, but i haven't seen enough to make me remotely confident in their ability to carry any sort of load. Deji-Vu.  |
