Aug 31: Roster reduction to 53 players
Sep 9: Week 1 opener against the New York Jets at MetLife Stadium
Sep 16: Home opener against the Kansas City Chiefs at Ralph Wilson Stadium
It is easily apparent that Buffalo's biggest weakness is at quarterback. Ryan Fitzpatrick, Vince Young and Tyler Thigpen all have completion percentages of 48%. The Bills traded for Tarvaris Jackson and released Vince Young. It should be an interesting game to watch with a new quarterback on the roster and with the final cut day right around the corner. Do you guys have any predictions on which 22 players will be cut? Which players are on the bubble and will need a solid game to solidify a roster spot? _________________

I heard on WGR that Jackson might play in this game, I assume it will be a very limited offense but I am excited to see him in a Bills jersey. _________________

I've always liked Jackson, I wanted him last year until he signed with Seattle. Plus why not its something to look forward to for the last preseason game. _________________

I like Brown. He is very good oline depth...
Dwan Edwards I don't think will be cut... He doesn't deserve to be cut before Carrington.
McGee I see as a real possibility of being cut with Brooks and Rogers playing the way they are. _________________

| Quote: | | The long road to recovery for Terrence McGee coming off patellar tendon surgery saw a bump in the road after practice Monday and it kept him off the practice field Tuesday. It will also keep him out of the preseason finale Thursday night in Detroit. |

That really sucks. I don't think McGee has a shot at making the roster. _________________

Why didn't Mario get the gameball last week? He had 2 sacks and recieved 50% of our votes. _________________

When I made the thread there was one vote cast for three different players. I can edit it since it's changed since then. _________________

Position battles of note:- Fourth defensive end spot: Robert Eddins, Jarron Gilbert, Kyle Moore - Has a great pass rush, just needs to become a better all around player. But I think he wins this battle.
- Sixth and seventh linebacker spots: Tank Carder - Special Teams, Scott McKillop, Kirk Morrison - Veteran Leader., Chris White
- Possible fourth offensive tackle spot: Sam Young - I'm going with Young here, Sanders has to show something this game for the coaches to know why they spent a 5th round pick on him., Zerbie Sanders
- Possible fourth safety spot: Delano Howell - He looked really good against the Vikings and should use this game to prove to the coaches they need to keep a 4th safety., Nick Saenz
Injury Report:
Questionable:
OT Zerbie Sanders - Sanders better play if he wants to make the roster
OT James Carmon |

Agree with the bolded 110%. At this point, I'm thinking those predictions & reasons should be gimme's, especially regarding Sam Young, who has been quite impressive in preseason so far. _________________

| Sanders is PS bound IMO, I think Dwan Edwards makes team over Carrington/Heard and a decent showing from Rogers/Brooks ends McGee Buffalo career |

Brooks doesn't make trip
Brooks didn't make the trip to Detroit due to an injury. McGee is also out and Williams/Gilmore will only play ten snaps. This means a lot of playing time for McKelvin, Rodgers and Isiash Green. _________________
