I'd like to trade Rodgers for a quality RB... Any takers?

I really want Rodgers but my two backs are Shonn Greene and Cedric Benson and neither of them are really quality.

I really want to trade Steve Smith and/or A.J. Green for a good running back. If anyone needs WRs let me know

I was stuck moving in today, couldn't make the draft. How the hell was T.O. put on my team lol? Not something I expected.

I feel like Cam is either going to be huge for me or just suck hard.

My team turned out okay, although stefan, as always, roster blocked me like the azzhole he is. Laughing

Not my best roster...but for a 14 team league its not bad.

My WRs are a big question mark though.

It's called handcuffing. Picking up the back-up in case your RB goes down. But in this case you got two guys who split carries so its a little different than the traditional thinking

BTW, conventional thinking was to take Arion Foster 1st overall, but went w/ Shady instead...bad move??

Not a "bad move".... can't go wrong with either one of them.

My first ever draft, so not sure.

Good draft for the most part but I believe you fell into something a lot of new guys do and you drafted more with your Heart than your Head.

Drafting Steelers earlier than they should have been.

my 2 cents

I absolutely drafted w/ my heart on a couple of those guys...but I knew I was and really never had any intention on winning this thing...just wanted to have some fun! Ben was maybe a round early, but he'd've been gone if I waited; and I think Eli and Vick were the other two in his vicinity and I'd rather have Ben...Eli can throw 25 INTs in any given season...but yes, Dwyer had NO business being drafted where I drafted him.

And on the "handcuffing", well not surprised I messed that concept up (hehe)...that's what I get for getting cute...and now in week six I'll be starting Shady and Dwyer!! HA...yeah, week 6 not looking so good...week 7 either....

Thanks for the insight

Cam will be good, I bet...don't see a sophmore regression in his future.

I agree w/ your WRs...but really, they are boom or bust. It's not like Britt and Jeffrey don't have talent. You could be very pleasently surprised!

Back to my team...I just read that JStew rolled his ankle yesterday--#$@%#$%!!!!

Agree about Cam to a point. I could see him regressing a bit, especially in terms of stats. NOT SAYING HE WILL, just that I could see it.

Three WRs I wanted went within 2 or 3 picks before I was up. Annoyed me. They are definitely boom or bust. Britt is a moron and injury prone. I like Jeffery because I think he will get alot of one on one matchups with Marshall acrosss from him. Devin Hester could also have a big year at WR in the slot.

Jordy Nelson I see having a nice year, but not as good as last year. 1100 yards, 8 or 9 TDs....not bad I guess.

MY team is not to bad for picking 12th, I got 2 decent QBs even though I can't stand one of them,CryingRivers). I like my WR ,hopefully Meachem can do something.RB are ok.

QB-Rivers- should still put up yards and hopefully INT go down
Schaub- Looks good so far in Pre

RB- Turner- I am hoping he can stay healthy
Bradshaw- He has to hold off Martin, could be a big year for him
Jennings- Just incase MJD doesnt show or gets hurt
Gerhart- first cut if AP is healthy
Rainey- Maybe a spot starter for me

WR- Fitzgerald- Oh how I wish Cards had a QB
AB- I think he is going to have a great year for the Steelers
Meachem- Can he replace Jackson, I would be fine with just close
Mike Williams- with Jackson there he could have a good year
Hankerson- if he can beat out Josh Morgan, he will be a starter

TE- Owen Daniels- Hoping for a heathy season, he can still put up good #
Heath Miller- Kinda my homie pick but he could have a solid year

K- Kaedings- Charges should put up points, he was solid before injury

Def- New England- First time ever taking anything Patriots

Unfortunately, I had a family gathering on Sunday so edited the draft rankings. I should have dropped Peterson lower. I don't know how effective he will be at the beginning of the year and he probably won't get as many carries and that will hurt. It's okay but not great. Would like another RB.

QB - Matthew Stafford
QB - Marc Sanchez
RB - Adrian Peterson
RB - BenJarvus Green-Ellis
RB - Michael Bush
WR - Demaryus Thomas
WR - Dwayne Bowe
WR - Vincent Jackson
WR - Sidney Rice
WR - Mario Manningham
TE - Tony Gonzalez
TE - Colby Fleener
K - Dan Bailey
K - Neil Rackers (will be dropped)
Def - Steelers
Def - Falcons

I really need a top 10 running back, if anyone has one that they will trade let me know? I will trade Steve Smith, A.J. Green, Shonn Greene, and Jermichael Finley for a top back.

going off the spreadsheet I made on google, so not too worried about the rosters listed here. Hope they're correct.

ranked the offenses
ranked the defenses
matched the coaching staffs to see if any were good (And applicable) enough to give a 'bump'
checked the special teams to see if any were good enough to give a 'bump'

top 2 were fairly apparent and very close:

1. Stefan
2. Ward4HOF

elite QB, combo of good-to-great targets with a rounded running game. Ward had a huge advantage in offensive line.

next group was a big glob, very little separated #3 and #7

3. neumatic
4. bigben
5. treat
6. waffles
7. 43

not coincidentally, all had elite or borderline-elite QBs.

next 2 were slightly under that group:

8. at23
9. jcm

didn't trust at23's offense, didn't trust jcm's defense.

final 2 were a bit below due to some question marks

10. SteelProven - offensive line was hurting combined with questionable RBs and a bad offensive coordinator. On defense, not buying Abraham as an OLB, but I liked the rest of the front 7.

11. sc29 - not a Vick fan (at all), not buying Mathis or Freeney as 3-4 DEs, even in a single gap, secondary very questionable

so that's how I rank them. Naturally, I would've been 1st overall, and as the season goes, that will become apparent, but yeah. There you go. Sorry it took me so long, couldn't access my spreadsheet from work, so had to do it at home, and I'm way too busy (usually) to be bothered. Smile

Wrong thread chum.
