A lot of outsiders will say that a 7th round pick is nothing but Schneider has actually gotten good value with late round pick's Sweezy and guy's like Baldwin who were UDFA.
Still surprised we got a 7th round pick that could be a 6th for a guy that was most likely going to be cut though don't think Buffalo had to fear another team going after him as a FA. |

I don't wish any ill will on anyone, or injury. but an injury to Ryan Fitzpatrick this year would be nice in the regards of our draft next year. |
It's actually being reported that Tarvaris only needs to be ACTIVE for 6 games this season, which means if he's the backup for Buffalo for 6 games we'll get a 6th. |
oh, even better, that 6th is as good as gold, and sorry to any Bills fans that have or will take offense to my post. _________________ Adopt-a-Hawk

So much for that 4th or 5th
Honestly, if you told me we'd get a potential 6th round pick for Tarvaris Jackson at the end of the season, I would have laughed at you. Not sure why he was coveted. |
All the reports have said mid to late round pick for Tjax. Ive heard rumors from nfl.com and espn.com that JS was seeking a 5th. so why would you talk [inappropriate/removed] about my prediction? [inappropriate/removed] |

I was just giving you a hard time.
EDIT: And just to be clear, the "you" in the 2nd half of that post wasn't actually directed at YOU BigJoe. It was a general "you", as in, anyone. _________________

You know how people will start a conversation with, "I don't mean to offend, but..." and then they proceed to offend? No worries, man. I already was aware that all he had to do was be active to trigger the 6th rounder. I think you guys can bank on it. Thigpen has been horrible the last 2 years, but he knows Chan's offense well and probably looks classy in his clean uniform carrying the clipboard. Unless TJax gets injured, I'd bet he is the 2nd stringer for at least the last 8 games & maybe even starts the last 1 or 2 (Fitz is having a bad preseason, but to be fair he did last year too). _________________

The way I understand it is that if we cut him or trade him it does not madder we have to pay him his bonus for this season Cuz that is his money for signing the contract. But the bills have no obligation to his contract with us. But the bonus we pay him won't come out of our cap till next season... but the fact that we got something for him is great... because if we still had him on the roster week 1 we would have to pay him the 2 million. Also if the bills did not want to resign him then they can keep his old contract with us and they have to pay him the salary minus the bonus we owe him but they would not do that I was just saying the options they have. |
