@TheKillerNacho are they coming tonight? No rush but I was just wondering if I should keep an eye out for them.

I would bet a lot of money no matter what happens there won’t be two big baseball diamonds next to a new Bears stadium on Lakefront like drawings currently show.

Unwanted attention maybe? With Oakland now losing the A's, I could see the NorCal folk being irked that they're back around for a tease. Could be overthinking it though. I feel like the Raiders want good vibes and mojo right now since there is at least a slight perception that we're sorta punting on this year and maybe even next. AP being from SoCal probably plays a role too. Plus....hey we'll probably draw more of a crowd than the Dolts do for regular season games and any opportunity to stick it to them in their territory is welcome.

I really like that trade to secure a young, top 3 NFL pick QB for the future. I assume either Penix or Coleman came from the 2nd, both good prospects and fit the roster pretty well though I wouldn't hesitate to flip coleman for a 25 1st+ if he starts out hot given the strong WRs you have My only issue is that Maye could sit for awhile and leave you without a 2nd QB to start.. of Brissett (and Darnold/Stidham) are on waivers I'd try adding them in place of a TE or two

I think the Day 1 starters are Williams, Daniels, and Nix. I don’t think Maye sits very long, and could be the Day 1 starter, but I would’t be surprised if he’s on the bench for a few games.

They could realistically build another stadium on Lakefront or Arlington and then George passes and McCaskey heirs later sell team to an owner who gets a stadium revenue deal elsewhere. Like London or somewhere and moves team there.

I am going to rank your team based on the order I'd eat them.

Probably should be 2003 or 2018, for the Chiefs. 2003 was the only great Chiefs team I really experienced in the first decade or so I was a fan. 2018 was the first time in my life we had a genuine, no qualifiers, franchise QB. The first like 3 weeks of that season felt too good to be true. But for me, 2016 has a weird special place in my heart. That season was us winning games in just absolutely non-sensical ways all year long. Week 1 we came back down 27-10 with less than 10 minutes left in the 4th quarter to beat the Chargers. Game 3 we forced 8 turnovers, including 6 INTs, to beat the Jets. Game 5 had the Dontari Poe rushing TD against the Raiders. Ricochet pick 6 by Daniel Sorensen in game 6, and that week kind of started Tyreek Hill's breakout. Games 7 and 8 had two Nick Foles victories off the bench. 9th game against the Panthers, stuff started getting real wacky. 20-17 win over the Panthers. Offense scored 0 TDs and contributed negative EPA. Won on a walk off field goal. Eric Berry had a dynamic pick 6 early in the 4th when we were down 17-6. Pick 6, 2 point conversion, and a FG later, tie game. Panthers got the ball with 29 seconds, 0 timeouts, at their own 20. Decided to give it a go, completed a pass to Kelvin Benjamin who promptly fumbled, forced and recovered by Marcus Peters who got penalized for punting the ball in celebration. Two run plays later and won on a walk FG. Panthers could've ran every down in the 4th quarter and probably won by double digits. And then you have the 11th game, in Denver. Two top defenses, two pretty mid offenses. No one scores the first 23 minutes of game time. Then Justin Houston gets a safety, followed by a Tyreek Hill touchdown on the ensuing safety kick. So now we're at 9-0. Offenses kind of get their **** together from there, and we wind up at Broncos 24, Chiefs 16 with ~20 seconds left. Chiefs convert a 4th and 10, get the ball at the like 3 yard line. Throw a slant to Tyreek who bobbles it, his knee is down before the goal line, clock runs out, but they rule he didn't have possession when his knee was down because of the bobble, so it was a touchdown as he gained possession in the end zone. 2 point try, game goes to OT. Teams trade field goals the first two drives, OT presses on. Broncos have 4th and 10 from the KC 44, minute-ish left. Needed like 6 yards for a reasonable FG try, and got nothing. Go for the FG anyway, fail on the 62 yard attempt. Ball goes back to KC at like mid-field. Gain like 30 yards in 3 plays. 34 yard field goal to win by Santos nails the upright but bounces in, for the win. Crazy game, one of my favorites all-time. But not even done. 12th game, the next week, got the Eric Berry homecoming game at Atlanta. Not only does he get a pick 6 with 40 seconds left in the first half. But with 4:30 left in the game, Falcons score a TD to go up 28-27. Go for 2 to make it a 3 point game. Berry picks it off and runs it the other way for the rare pick 2. Chiefs go up 29-28, Falcons never got the ball back. I don't even know if that's happened since? But crazy rare either way. Game 13, Raiders punted it away in the second quarter, Tyreek lost a couple yards on the return. Taiwan Jones got penalized for going out of bounds as the gunner. They re-do the punt. Stadium is chanting Tyreek's name, 78 yards for a TD. Pretty sure the punter got an unsportsmanlike on the second one, too. Won by a TD, and this sealed us having the tiebreaker over the Raiders for the division that year. Then we screwed around and blew game 14 against the Titans, because that's just like, a thing we do against the AFC South. Game 15, blew out the Broncos. 70 yard rush by Hill, 80 yard catch by Kelce, and the Dontari Poe TD pass to Demetrius Harris for just some icing on the cake. And then got to be the last team to beat the San Diego Chargers. Crazy fun, weird season. An obscene amount of talent on some of those Alex Smith era teams. Ton of personality and weird ways to win. We just don't need to talk about how the playoffs went back in those days.
