If he is in fact released what do you think of him as a player and would you think he is a good option for at least this season at tackle for us. Talent is there but unfortunalty he has not used it maybe change of senery helps.
Sorry for no link but have the tweets on my phone im sure its everywhere on rumor mill jurecki is reporting it this morning. |

I'd take a flier personally, he's got the talent but in no way shape or form would he make our tackle situation better. It'd just be a "what the hell, let's see what he's got" type move, not a move to actually improve the offensive line.
The man beating Smith out right now, Barry Richardson, actually graded out at around what Jeremy Bridges graded out last year. Speaks volumes. _________________

now jurcki reporting gosder cherilus from detroit could be released if reiff beats him out. another former first rounder at tackle that maybe we can insert for a year.
I think with all of the rumors out there come cutdown time there will at least be a few guys who have talent that have underachieved we can take a flier on.
At least the well wont be completly dry in terms of the tackle market and we can offer a chance to start and get thier carrers back on track. at this point its about the best we can do and just roll with it. |

All teams are doing is getting down to 75. The players with borderline talent & potential are still on teams. These guys we're seeing now are the scrubs. We can & should wait. _________________

The Jets love those "name" players that people have heard of. I do not get the trade for either team really besides the fact that they both need a right tackle. I just do not understand why they would trade garbage for crap. _________________
