It's obviously a long shot, but fun to think about what would happen if he didn't. Answer these 3 questions for if Run DMC does the impossible.
1. What stats does he put up?
- Rushing Yards 1,450
- Rushing TDs 6
- Yards Per Carry 5.2
- Receiving Yards 450
- Receiving TDs 4
2. Does he receive any awards at seasons end?
- Probowl
- 1st or 2nd Team All Pro
- Offensive Player of the Year
- MVP
3. What does he help the Raiders accomplish?
- Offensive ranking 8
- Team record 9-6
- Post season success Our first round |

Nice addition....
DMC playing in 16 games is a big IF.....nothing more than the guys plays hard and likes to dish it out as well... |
Credit where it's due here. Not trolling ftw.
Although, I'd probably add a little more receiving yards and take off some rushing. _________________

Way too hypothetical. I don't think anyone doubts McFadden's ability to ball, when he's in he is one of the best (if not the best) RB's in the game. Put him right up there with the likes of AP, Forte, Mojo, etc... He was the leading rusher last year up until his injury.
It hasn't ever really been a question of McFadden's ability to play, it's always been with his ability to stay healthy for majority of the season. I'm not counting on him playing all 16 games... most top RB's don't ever really make it through a season. Virtually every guy that lead in rushing at some point last year went down with an injury. AP, Forte, Fred Jackson, etc... RB's naturally take so much punishment imo there aren't many that will make it through a whole season.
McFadden's problem is the fact that he seems to constantly have these nagging minor injuries like turf toe or a high ankle sprain; stuff that keeps him out of crucial games and takes away from his explosiveness. The guys mentioned above don't seem to go through that the way Mcfadden does. They suffered major injuries, yes. But they were relatively healthy up until that point.
Love DMC though and hoping to God he can stay healthy for long enough to get us into a playoff position. He completely changes the face of our offense and you really can't put a price tag on how much defenses have to account for him at all times thus creating opportunities for other players. Just as an aside, Moore and Ford are both already dealing with the injury bug... not a good start |
