They also used the TE & FB w/ protection. RT @Maxhawk4: Thought Batiste did nice job at LT & Massie ok at RT much improved when they came in

Not on the plays I saw he didn't of which they were again over a dozen total. And I saw em all slow-mo.
And again, I do not like D'Anthony Batiste and have no want or reason to speak favorably of him. If he got cut tomorrow it wouldn't cost me a second of sleep.

I'm rewatching the offensive line play now from the third quarter. Specifically, I'm watching Bobby Massie and D'Anthony Batiste. Neither one is doing all to great at generating a push. On pass plays they are getting pushed back a bit but were not making egregious mental mistakes like DJ Young. They did hold their own well however and looked much better. They also looked better as the game went on (and started facing 2nd and 3rd stringers).
Massie got beat on a speed rush as a guy runs right by him at 9:41 remaining in the third.
When Massie and Batiste had FB/TE help, they looked like they did their jobs correctly, and did not let up a rush. They did not use Sherman too much however, but when the TEs were in there was little pass rush. They were holding their own however before Sherman and the TEs came in to help.
It is hard to not notice how Powell has talent. I want to see him stay on the roster with Beanie Ryan and LSH. He is too impressive to send to PS.

Ricky Lumpkin was fined 21K today for his hit on Matt Leinart last week. Don't really remember the hit but Lumpkin sure as heck will. 21K is a huge sum for a guy like him.
