Some team battles to watch for...(Since that's what pre season is for, right?)

Brandon Myers vs. David Ausberry
Gordon may not play this game so it looks like it will be down to these two to show whos in the lead for the starting TE position. IMO, it's Myers job to lose, but not set in stone by any means.

Goodson vs. Jones vs. Miller
Noone has really stood out yet, and I have no clue who is going to be backing uop McFadden this season. With Jones injury and Goodson struggling, Miller has slowly crept into consideration to make the roster. Will Jones impress after being injured most of TC? WIll our back up RB be someone not on the roster?

Pryor's development
Will he improve off of his first two outings? will he get worse? It's looking like he'll get a decent amount of playing time with Leinarts injury, we might even see some Newhall-Caballero.

Lee vs Chekwa vs DVD vs McCann
Will SOMEBODY cement themselves as the 3rd/Nickle CB? SO far Lee has shined brightest in practice, and Chekwa has out-performed DVD in the games. McCann started last week as the 3rd corner, but Lee was out, so who knows...

*Really looking forward to see what Bartell can do aginst CJ. Bryant, Fitz and Megatron in consecutive weeks is a nice test to get him ready and up to speed.

Hamilton vs Bilukidi
Battle for the 4th DT spot. Both of these guys have impressed and look to have a NFL future but neither have really seperated themselves. Will that change Saturday?

*Speaking of D Line, Crawford makes his debut. Can he show flashes of that pass rushing specialist he was drafted to be?

Carson Palmer
Will he throw 5 TD's? Seriously though, it would be nice for our starting offense to finally punch it in, especially in the red zone. Will Reece be used a little more than we've seen so far?

Streater and Criners development
Two exciting young Receivers, Will these guys, especially Streater continue to shine this pre season and continue their faster than expected development? Can one of them potentially un seat Ford? Going to be interesting to see what they do against the 1's. One of them may very well be in the starting line-up on Monday night, so they need to step up. McGee is anbother WR to keep a look out for.

Other positions to keep an eye on:

Back up OL: Bergstrom (OG), Miller (OC), Parsons (OC), Barksdale (OT), Nix (OG), Haslam (OT)

LB Ddepth: Ihenacho, Stupar, Kilgore, Goethel, Burnett, Boesworth

Special Teams: Needs a much better performance. Who will be the PR? KR?

Miscellaneous news:

-The Raiders, having admittedly not game planned at all for Dallas or Arizona, will actually have a bit of a script for this game. There will be packages installed, plays mapped out and much more of a sense of what this Raider team will actually look like come September

-The Raiders will play their starters on both sides of the ball into the third quarter – as will the Lions - and the starting defense will get a sterling test against the explosive playmaking of the Lions offense

Palmer threw 2 tds in that second possession one dropped by DHB and the other by Streater so technically speaking he should have thrown for a td against AZ.

Third possession McFadden should have shortened his stride or drug his foot on the 3rd down pass from Palmer that was a little over thrown but still should have been a completion with better awareness from D-Mac.

what im looking for:

-can the 1rst team score a td
-who is coming back from injury (wiz, tj, ml etc)
-will dmac keep looking good
-turnovers can we keep possession better
-can the d-line continue to be stout
-will the dbs keep the lions in check
-can the o-line hold the lions d-line and open holes for the rbs
-no interested in seeing tp but wonder what the caballero guy has
-will rod keep his streak going
-will a te shine
