Anyone have the report on Dowling? I thought he played most of the game and I can't remember seeing any balls thrown his way. He must have played some pretty good coverage.
Anyone have the preseason pass and watch the footage on him? |

I watched the entire game. I believe he had one pass thrown at him all night. Less than 10 yard pass.
They were busy abusing Sterling Moore. |

Hopefully that won't happen as much in the regular season when McCourty, Arrington, and Dowling are primarily on the field.

Darryl Tapp is likely the odd guy out. He could be of some interest, he's been effective at DE, DT, and joker (stand-up pass rusher) here. He's not a starter on most teams, but he's a great backup. |

Re-watching the game, Dowling had a nice effort. He was in his receiver's hip pocket most of the night. The other corners definitely made it less tempting to throw on him, though. Brace and Cunningham also had very solid nights, albeit over about only four series worth of snaps. |
