-Most important preseason game, the dress rehearsal.
-We go into the circus that is the New York Jets.
-2 quarters of Sanchez, then 2 of Tebow.
-Jets haven't scored a TD in the preseason yet.
-Primetime, Sunday night baby!
-I want to see at least a half of the starters, maybe more.
-Revis on Smitty will be interesting.
-Norman will get some good experience.
-Wanna see the D-Line continue its pressure.
Discuss.

i hope gettis plays. i'm worried he's gonna get cut.
beason and TD are hopefully feeling better as well though i'm not worried about them being cut...
i wonder if we will throw in any "gameplan" stuff. like actually run the read option or the pistol cross. put joe adams at tailback. etc. or if its mainly gonna be more vanilla stuff. dying to see chud's creativity be unleashed.
i wanna see hardy and cj switch spots more often. maybe the plan is no longer for them to split time on each end though... just seems that cj facing johnathan martin/wayne hunter isn't fair when hardy is up against long/ferguson... _________________

This will be a good test for Newton. Revis is arguably the best defensive player in the league and the best cornerback this league has seen in a very long time. So will be interesting how he responds since Revis will be shutting down Smith more than likely. Will he try to force it or will he spread the ball around like he did against Miami? |

Should be a very interesting, exciting and hyped game., for many of the reasons that you said.
Jet's will be under the gun and possibly desperate.
It will be on National Television
Cam will get a lot of publicity, and the Jets will like to show him up.
There will be many Cam vs Tebow comparisons.
Yes, Cam will have a challenge with Smith locked up. But as you said, I think Cam will just spread it around.
A lot of things going on. Should be a great Preseason game, and good test for Cam and the team, because of it. |

well for one thing i expect the the defense to look dominant...not that that will be telling against the J-E-T-S jets jets jets...should be a great test for the offense tho. particularly the o line _________________

The Jets are open about keying on Cam. This should be an excellent learning experience before the season. This is going to be a big test for the receivers because Smith is out. I still think the offense can spread the ball around and I'm fine with Smith taking a game off. Does this mean Murphy is going to be starting?
Haruki Nakamura has apparently jumped Martin at FS. I think it all comes down to tackling. Martin is probably more athletic but Nakamura isn't a bonehead. We have much better tackling on defense now. Now if we could just get those blitzes to start working... |

It's too big, but more importantly, the pic has to abide by forum regulations.

Hey, gonna need you to change your sig. The guy's nose is too big, but more importantly, I don't even know how I got to the Panthers forum.
Thanks! _________________

Wiki. Nakamura's parents, Karen and Ryozo, were each competitive in international judo competitions. His mother is a fourth degree black belt, and his late father Ryozo was an eighth degree black belt.[1] His brothers Mako and Yoshi were each international judo champions. Yoshi was a two-time Ohio state wrestling champion[2] and also competed in the U.S. Olympic Trials. Nakamura's sister, Kimi was a national champion in judo.
i love this guy and his judo background. i hope he holds that starting spot and runs with it. _________________

1. I'm really excited to see what the Offense can do with out Smitty.
2. Also Excited to see Davis play again. (even if it's probably only like 10 plays)
3. I want our D to continue the trend and not let the Jets score a TD. (Or at all)
4. A prediction for this game, someone on our squad will have a return TD.
5. And of course as always, nobody gets injured! ( Except for maybe Rex Ryans pride) |

As much as I wanted to see Smitty best Revis I think it will be just as interesting to see LaFell vs Revis during the game. It should be a great test for LaFell, I have high hopes for the guy. |
