He needs to make a decision as soon as possible. He's already missed too much practice. He needs to get in football shape. |

Yeah, track shape and football shape are two completely different things. The longer he takes to make a decision, the harder it will be for him. _________________

Well we just acquired him a week ago so it's tough to say. But if I were to guess it'd probably be a no. We've got quite a bit of secondary depth. _________________

Not sure, but based upon what little we saw of him last week, I sure hope that he gets a little more playing time this week. He has some catching up to do as far as evaluations go. |

WEll demps is gone
Quote: | Patriots signed KR/RB Jeff Demps.
Demps earned an Olympic silver medal in London as part of USA's 4x100 relay team. Before that, he was an electric return man and hybrid player for the University of Florida, piling up 2,470 rushing yards and 23 touchdowns during his four-year career. But at 5'7/190, his role with the Patriots is expected to be limited to special teams. Demps averaged 28.8 yards per kickoff return as a Gator. The Bucs and Jets were also interested.

Well at least he went to my AFC team. I thought for sure he'd sign here, but it makes sense for him to want to go to New England. We look pretty set at RB and WR already. Maybe he thought he'd get lost in the shuffle. Or he just wanted to go to a consistent Super Bowl contender, which is more likely. _________________

Random thought..but I re-watched game 2...Dotson should replace Trueblood when Penn comes back, IMO our o-line would get so much better overnight.. |

I haven't been able to see him in action but I've only heard good things. Is he really that good? |

Well I knew that. So he's only an upgrade because he's not awful? |

That's encouraging. We've needed an upgrade at RT for a few years now. I remember when True was a mauler in the run game, an avarage pass blocker, and a hothead. Now it seems he's just bleh. |
