Actully I wouldn't really mind if San Fransisco beat us out in the divison.

We have no chance of making it to the play-offs. And after next week, we will be 4-6.

Yep we keep finding ways to lose. We need to devote the entire draft to defense.
BTW Atogwe reserves his worst performances for SF. Don't know why but he does.

You know whats sad? you guys giving up just like the flames fans a week ago. Then they win 4 straight games and everyone is happy. If we just root for them something good will happen. They have won 4 straight before guys so it is possible. This is my only problem with the rams. They are a 7-9 team which gets them a bad draft pick spot considering they dint make the playoffs. I wish we either really suck or start winning alot.

I not going to bust Linehan's chops for going for it on that 4th down.

I am going to bust his chops on the play call. There was exactly one guy in the pattern and when he was covered there was no where for Bulger to go with the ball.

And yes not having that 3 points was a huge difference because at that point in the game the defense had the Hawks number and probably could have prevented a TD.

As for Incognito - that personal foul was a game breaker because it led to great field position.

I can't fault the defense on that last drive - the Hawks really only needed to get to the 30-35 yard line for Josh Brown and they started on the 50.

i agree with halradio. The idea to go for it in the point of the game was definately the right decision. Now the playcalling was sketchy. Trying to catch them offgaurd doesnt always work. Its sometimes stupid when ur just going for that 1 yard.

Im not counting the rams out but im being realistic.

We have too much inconsistency and ned to shore this up in the draft. Make some big time moves this year to give haslett what he eeds on defense.

I think by going for a TD instead of taking the FG showed the lack of confidence Linehan has in the defense right now.

Linehan is an idiot and cost us the game. Pace is out for the season which is fantastic. Were out of the playoffs now but hopefully seattle will just collapse somehow and maybe we still have a shot?
Always gotta keep the faith..

It hurts that Pace is out for the season.

According to the St Louis Dispatch FB Paul Smith was supposed to run a pass route on that fourth down play and instead stayed into block so it was essentially a busted play.

Incognito made a bone head play; however, kind of curious how the refs flagged him for pushing the pile, but didn't flag anybody for ripping Jackson's helmet off.

Even if Paul Smith would have run a route, Bulger wouldn't have passed it to him. I was glad that they were going for it, but run plays that get S-Jax, Holt, and Bruce open.

Overall Linehan is doing a good job as a first year head coach.

Even though the Rams have lost four straight - they have been in the thick of it in each game until the fourth quarter.
