Gabbert showed heaps of improvement although there were times where he still threw off his back foot. I'm sure he's going to get ripped for that.
Rashad showed the injury hasn't hampered his drive to play the game. Montell also played with intensity.
Robiskie, Thomas and Shorts all looked good (minus Shorts fumble and dropped pass)...but the fumble by Shorts does show me that he is trying hard...just needs to show more ball security.
OL could be better....Bradfield was not impressive in his start at all. Granted it was against the Giants great DL, he needs to be prepared for the best every week...and he definitely didn't. The interior line played nicely and that was without Rackley. Brewster did well in his time once Estes got hurt.
Wish the kick-off coverage was better. Russel Allen was a huge part of our special teams coverage the past few seasons, but with Clint Sessions likely not playing he will be taking over his position and leaves us a little weak on coverage. Hope Sessions either gets cleared to play or someone steps up. Wasn't happy that after our first drive, the Giants started near midfield.
Anger's first punt was a little meh, but he obviously lived up to his fan favorite status. The best part about his game is that Bryan thinks he had a bad game...future looks bright with this one.
Wish the DL got a little more of a pass-rush, but they held the run very well, and Middelton had a boss game imo. Constantly around the ball played RCB and nickle and was productive at both positions. He was one of my MVPs of the game with how he played.
I'm excited to see more of this team play and hope they continue to progress. I really wish MJD would come back because we could be soo much better. This team could be very scary if he came back...maybe the AFCs version of the 9ers.

The DL got 2 sacks all of last preseason, they got 5 in this game alone. I'll take that anytime.

No TDs thrown last preseason, 2 this week.

Pats game: Hoyer threw a TD last year, as did Mallet
Falcons game: Ryan threw a TD.
Bills game: Fitzpatrick threw two TDs, Thigpen threw one.
Rams game: Bradford threw a TD
Falcons game: McCown threw a TD
Bills game: Gabbert threw a TD
Rams game: McCown threw a TD
