Packers Trade Back Again
The Packers traded the 126th overall pick, obtained in a Day 1 trade with Carolina, to Philadelphia for 3 selections, the 167th, 175th and 245th overall picks. _________________ BRETT FAVRE's HEIR APPARENT: Adrian McPherson oh wait it's the SOD: #12 Aaron Rodgers |

Seems like it wasn't an all bad idea to get 2 extra picks out of it. |

Looks like they're really reaching for the stars now.
Heck, give me enough picks and I'll find a rose in the middle of a crap pile too!
Very unfortunate draft for Green Bay overall. I like Poppings, but that is it so far.
Even John Clayton called Nick Collins a "major reach" on day 1. |

Think MAYBE that's part of why they are getting more picks??
Again, who is your sure-fire opening day starter you see coming in round 4?? |

i havent cared for any of the picks. i am starting to think that TT is battling his former team Seattle for the worst draft class this year. also of the opinion that Sherman may have been able to do better. at least he would have addressed the defense better. Rodgers was BPA other than that they sure didnt go BPA or even BPA for position of need. dont know how they choose who they picked. we have passed up way too many good players. _________________ GBPackerFan04 |

Okay, now I'm gonna contradict myself from last night. Thompson was Wolf's protege. Wolf picked a lot of people that made us all mad. Remember how badly Packer fans wanted Rasham Salaam and instead we took Craig Newsome. "Who? Why he isn't valued higher than a third rounder!" Oh how mad we all were. That turned out to be not only be the right pick, but an absolute steal. Maybe in time we'll be saying the same thing about this class.
While I am skeptical of this draft and I am skeptical of taking a QB and WR, and a CB/S that no one has heard of, I agree with the fans of Rodgers that to judge this class before training camp has even started is foolish.
One things for sure either TT comes out looking like a genius or a jackass. While I'm betting jackass, I hope it's genius. |

Yup. We could have taken Swancutt or Hawthorne. Oakland just took Hawthorne, and I bet Swancutt doesn't fall to us. _________________
