Was just about to post that. I suspect we look either for a FA or wait until some cuts come down and see who's out there. _________________

Ramirez will start in the meantime. They might look at long term solutions though
perhaps moving Franklin to RG and adding Clark or Harris at RT _________________

I guess our Coaches look pretty smart for giving Manny so many reps with our 1st team now. We will miss Kuper, no doubt about that. I am intrigued to see how our 2nd team OL will look on Saturday now. Will Franklin move to Guard? I think Blake is pretty much guaranteed a roster spot, so surely we will have to give him reps at Guard (hard to carry a solely backup Center on a roster). _________________

I don't really think it was ever in doubt, although it wouldn't surprise me if Derek Wolfe ends up beating him out for the LDE job, Ayers is the clear number 2 ahead of Jackson imo.
Disappointing that Phillip Blake doesn't seem to be getting a look in with the number 1's at RG _________________

Is it just me, or dies there seem to be an inordinate amount of injuries this year. At the very least, there have been a lot of injuries to starters. _________________

Seems about normal to be honest. I was actually going to mention about a week ago that we seemed to have been 'lucky' with our lack of injuries. _________________

Wow another long term injury. I am praying this team does not suffer any major injuries this summer. I am looking forward to seeing what Jeremy Beal can do in pre-season games. He has been the forgotten man but he had quite a distinguished career. Apparently he had a good game against the bears. Maybe with Hunter down, he has a slightly better chance of making the team. |

He hasn't earned it. When he looks that bad against the #3's why should he get a chance w/ the 1's?

Yeah seems pretty average to me. Maybe even above average as far as injuries go.
Starters on defense injured = Hunter, Bannan
Starters on offense injured = Kuper
Other notables= Hillman, leonhard
Looks like we should actually be pretty happy about injuries. _________________

Don't forget about Fannin, & Carter. Also there was a plethora of minor injuries to the WR's that forced the Broncos to sign another WR.
Also, the team cut Judie, and Page due to injuries, and Franklin was dealing with a concussion early in camp also. Harris was also held out of the Bears game with, I believe an ankle injury too.
I guess I just don't follow other teams enough to know if that is alot or not. _________________

Yeah I just listed starters and notables. Fannin, Carter, and those WR's wouldn't make the team anyway. Harris and Franklin don't appear to be bad.
Remember how bad KC had it last year? They had it bad, Charles, Moeaki, Berry all out pretty dang early with season ending injuries. _________________
