With the next pick in the Adopt a Raider draft LivingLegendWFC selects...

Darren McFadden, RB.

McFadden is imo, the best overall football player we have on this team. Nobody is more interesting to watch especially in a format like this. We will go as far as he goes imho. Hopefully this year is the year he can stay healthy and lead us to the playoffs.

I look forward to following him in his progression at DE. I think he is primed for a big year. He'll put up some more #s in the sack department and he'll continue to be stout against the run.

I'll go with Jacoby Ford. This years offensive sleeper. Fastest player in the league who happens to be a damn good football player. If healthy, I expect him to be making big plays on a regular basis, whether it be receiving, returning kicks, or even getting carries out of the backfield. He's right there with McFadden as being the teams most explosive player. Can't wait to watch him ball out.

My plan all along was to take Marcel Reece, but that is because I figured DMC would be long gone by pick number six.

I'm going to be picking OLB Miles Burris

With Aaron Curry expected to miss significant time it looks like, Burris will be thrown into the starting role. I thought it'd be more fun to pick someone where I DON'T know exactly what to expect or what I will get out of him. Burris plays my favorite position, and I love the way he played in college. The guy has a non stop motor, tremendous athletic ability, has the ability to play the run, pass, rush the QB and is a class act/hard worker off the field as well. I'm looking forward to his rookie year, and if he plays int he NFL how he played in college he could be one of the best, nastiest LB's the Raiders have had since Romo...not only does he have the chance to become my favorite Raider (which is a better honor than the pro bowl) but look at that jaw line, how could i not pick Burris?
