As you can see I just created this account. Only problem was it took 9 days for the account to be activated. That's a little extreme. If I hadn't been lurking on FF for years, I would not still be interested in posting. I get the reasons for the activation process but IMO the time it takes should be cleaned up significantly. Maybe it's just a one time deal but I doubt it's just me having this problem.

| New registrations are carefully examined before approval to prevent spammers and trolls from posting on the forums. However, most registrations take 24-48 hours to approve. On occasion, it can take longer for a variety of reason as your account did. I apologize for the delay and welcome to the forum. |
