Ebner hasn't shown much, i don't understand spending a 6th round pick him... our team was good in coverage last and has enough good players on it now, why waste a 6th round pick him if he doesn't even have a natural position to contribute in either?

TOMMY STREETER WAS AVAILABLE!, seriously though... we could of used another OL depth player.

Ridiculous physical ability plus ridiculous intangibles. He's not expected to show anything on defense. He needs to be a star on STs just long enough to earn a defensive role, which may take a year or two.

Didn't catch much of the second half. How have Bequette and Ebert looked?

Bequette started off playing out of control and ending up on the ground a lot, but he's started putting some good snaps together. Getting around the ball and making a few plays, including a clean-up sack.

Trevor Scott shown closing speed the past two drives [didn't finish last drive], seems like his 2010 injury is fully recovered now.

I'd like to see him against first-stringers before I'm fully confident in his ability to play. But the burst is encouraging.

Looking at the stat sheet, Vereen has been beastly since he's been in the game. How has Bolden looked?

He was one Jessie Holley block from breaking a huge TD run.

Interesting.

If Vereen keeps this up, the Pats might be able to carry just 3 halfbacks [and 1 fullback] and keep 6 receivers [not counting Slater].

"Ridiculous intangibles" - what's that even mean?

He's a good athlete and like most special teams standouts, seems to have a total disregard for his own safety on-field.

I still think Ebner is headed for the practice squad.

Doubt he even makes the practice squad though the Pats total lack of depth at DT could give him a chance.

If he doesn't make the final 53 man roster there is probably a chance he gives up football and just gonna play Rugby.

Did he say that? Or are you assuming? I'd think he'd stick around the PS for at least 1 year if the Pats tell him he is in their plans once he gets a bit more coaching as an actual positional player.

It was an assumption.
